Breastfeeding for contraception (LMA)

I'm not against it by any means, but i agree with Ryder!! Anyone wants to try it, good for them, and i hope it works, but i know too well it can fail. Maybe i did something wrong, and if i did i'm glad, because i now have my daughter to show for it.
 
Any contraception or birth control method can fail.
 
Very true, it's just with LMA maybe there are more things that depend on it succeeding than with other birth control.

You are right. Using this method women have to take more of an active role in their health than just popping a pill.
 
I wouldn't recommend this method to anyone who really wouldn't want to get pregnant.

I was exclusively breastfeeding Toby, no bottles etc and certainly not having regular:sex:. However I'm now 13 wks pregnant and Toby is only 8months:blush:oops:rofl:
 
As all the literature and studies have suggested, LAM is effective for most women until 6 months pp.
