Is this normal?? I was like this with DS too. When LO latches on I get a wave of nausea. It usually lasts less than a minute and I'm never actually sick, but it's not nice! If I'm hungry or thirsty at the time it completely goes- I'll be really thirsty, latch DD and reach for my drink, only for the thought of having a drink turn my stomach. Anyone know of a way to stop it? I asked at my breastfeeding group but everyone no one else gets it.

It's normal, although not that common. There's some info here that might be useful. Hope it goes for you before long.

Ooh thank you! Glad to see it's normal :). I'll try upping my fluid intake, hopefully that helps. It lasted a year with DS, until he stopped nursing, hoping it won't last that long this time!

I feel naseous sometimes when breastfeeding too. Interesting info.

I'm glad you posted this. I get this too but thought I must be imagining it. Thanks

I feel like that too.. i dont know why.. i just thought i was weird lol

my dr told me it was hormones...

i got it in the beginning and it went away...now when my son nurses a little more than he did the previous day i get sick...i just roll with it honestly because it doesn't last too long.
