Breastfeeding Reflux and Gaviscon?

Hey, Today i had it confirmed by dr my 2 week old has reflux. Do any of you have some advice, I have tryed using syringe to give gaviscon but he will hardly drink any, ive done it little at a time and pointed it towards inner cheek but most of it he just spits out. Any advice would be appreciated, hes very content in the day but i think it effects him more at night as i can hear the sick coming up when i put him down, i try sitting him up as much as poss during feeding and after x
