Breastfeeding?

i want to breastfeed too for the benefits, but i don't feel comfortable breastfeeding infront of people. i think what i will do is express during the day and breastfeed at nights, or something along those lines. i plan on always having bottles made up. can you express feed all the time or do you have to start of breastfeeding first?

Im going to breastfeed personally. I actually can not wait! I am nervous about the whole public thing and will definetly NOT be doing it infront of my father in law(there has always been some awkwardness there), but I know from seeing friends and family doing it that it will be great! I have had some hard times with my mil telling me that it hurts to bad and not even try or give the baby formula because its easier, but honestly I dont want my baby having formula unless it really needs to and also my mom is being very supportive and telling me to do what I want.
