Ive been breech for the last few weeks and have an obstetrician appt booked for 36 weeks to discuss options if he hasnt turned. Anyone else breech still at 32 weeks?
Did the baby turn in time?
Really dont want ECV or a C-Section

32 weeks is still early!
I wouldn't worry too much.
Alot of babies turn in the last few weeks, some even during labor.

My MD told me that my baby is tranverse at 33 weeks and I did this:
https://spinningbabies.blogspot.com/2007/02/how-to-do-inversion.html

I don't know if this helped or she just wanted to turn, but at my 36 weeks appointment she was in the right position for birth-head down, anterior position. Worth trying, is not hard and I don't see any harm in this. Also staying on all fours for 10min twice a day may help too.

Good luck :dust:

I wouldn't worry too much, baby still has heaps of time to turn hun. :flower:

Definately, there is still some room in there. There are things you can try to encourage baby to move aswell, like mentioned going on all fours and then there is bouncing on a gym ball. I wouldnt worry until you see what they say at your next appointment :)

32 weeks is still quite early with plenty of time to turn. Try that link for spinning babies posted above and try and adopt good posture to ensure baby has optimum room for turning.

my baby was breech at 32 wks, and they didnt seem worried at all or bothered by it. baby is now head down now.i wouldnt worry, plenty time

very high chance of turning hun! Mine turned at 36 week's plus dont worry x

Im finding out tomorrow if mine has turned, but between 28 and 32 weeks he turned round three times! so far been trying to decypher what body parts are at what part of my bump...i swear i felt a foot at the top..good sign but now theres a big hard lump which i hope is a bum or back and not a head!

But I have heard of babies turning right up to the point of delivery, my friends one did. ...fingers crossed for both of us that ours behave and do the right thing...i dont want a csection either! xxx

I know I probably sound really naive about things...but how do you even know the baby is breech? Did you get an ultrasound?

Thank you for the response! :-) I have wondered if my dr. is going to do anything like that as the due date approaches...they told me that they only do a 20 week u/s at their office, but I would think surely they would have to do something else to prepare for if LO is breech...

guess I will find out in a few weeks!

Up until Last week my Bubs was transverse, So they have Lots of time to turn them selves

Don't worry too much yet. Tom was breech from as early as I could tell (from 24 weeks I could feel the feet downwards kicking) until 36 weeks.

I had a scan at 33 weeks which confirmed he was a footling breech (feet round face) and was due to be booked in for a c-section if he hadn't turned on the 36 week scan.

He turned 2 days before the 36 week scan which was really uncomfortable. I couldn't believe it when the sonographer said he was head dead!

I didn't really do a lot to make him turn. I did bounce on a gym ball everyday but prob only for 10 mins or so. OH tried shining a torch at the bottom of the bump to get Tom to look down there - a MW suggested this!!!!

My lil man is/was breech at my last mw app (33wks) I think he may have possibly turned now I've been doing the all fours thing and drinking lots of water as it's ment to help. But I'm in the same boat if he has not turned then I have to go to hospital at 36 wks to discuss cnsection. I'm not opting for ecv as this is what dislocated my sisters hips and one went un noticed till she was 18 months old despite us taking her to every kind of doc and clinic as we knew something wasn't right. She ended up in a hip spika for 9 months it's just not worth the risk in my opinion.
So if he is still heads up I will have a planned c section but also bubs Is a hefty size so mw was worried about trying to turn him to cos of his cord.
Hope you lil one turns and at the end of the day as long as bubs gets here safely everything will be fine xxxxxx

my midwife says up to 36 weeks with first. if it doesn't probably he/she like it that way and that how the baby stays.

My LO is currently breech and massive! I was told if she hasn't moved by 34 weeks she's unlikely too as she's so big. Little bugger!!

My lil bump is in breach at 32 weeks. I'm trying all the natural methods to get him/her to turn. I'd really like a natural birth so fingers crossed.

GL to all the other breech mummystobe

Im breech also and if she is still breech on 2nd feb they will be going through csection and trying to turn her x

you have nothing to worry about just yet so keep smiling  my LO was breech at 34 weeks and turned by 36 weeks x
