hi just been to midwife and she said my baby's head was at brim. Does that mean its ready to start engaging? Also i'm measuring small for the 1st time so does that mean that he's dropped? Last week i was 35cm, this week i'm 33cm!

I think thats what it means. When I dropped my bump size dropped too so sounds like it! How exciting!

My last appointment I had baby was at brim, I took this as him moving down and ready to engage, I was so excited, hoping at next appointment he is engaged.

Not sure about bump size, sorry, I think I still measured bigger. xx

My baby was brim two weeks ago and yesterday. To be honest it doesnt mean anything, the baby can engage as late as labour. Brim just means resting above the pelvis I think. Also, if it was engage one week it can be free again the next. Sorry girls x

I had this when I went to see the midwife last Thurs. When I looked at my notes it explains it as being what other people call 4/5ths engaged. My midwife said LO was in position but still needed to drop down into the pelvis. Hope this helps x
