Brown stringy discharge TMI

Ladies,

I have been getting a brown stringy discharge, only when I wipe *tmi*.

What is this likely to be?! I wasn't concerned at first, but as its 2 weeks until my next scan I have worked myself into a worry.

What would you ladies do?

I had this is my first pregnancy, it lasted a few days and I was really worried about it. Everything was fine in the end, although I've never found out what caused it x

I had this at 8 weeks, phoned the midwife and got an early scan, they said everything was okay and not to worry about the brown spotting as they couldn't see any reason for it, it was on & off until about 9 weeks then just disapeared and i've had nothing since and i'm now nearly 16weeks. I think it could of been Implantation bleeding that had just worked its way out, or it could of been a break thu bleed as it was around the time i'd of been due on, not sure.

I had this, too. I was VERY worried about it, but when I visited my doctor she was EXTREMELY unconcerned about it (and she is a great doctor). She was SO unconcerned that it made me start crying from a flood of relief. Mine was "brown and stringy", as you described, and I saw it on and off, when I wiped, for almost two weeks. I wore a pad during this time, but it never showed on the pad- only when I wiped. Please try not to worry xoxo, you're a strong and positive momma! (That's what I tell myself when I start to worry).

I also had this, and found it I was actually losing a twin. It is probably nothing, but I would call your doctor just in case.

I had this it was old blood and my lil man is still fine =)

Thank you soooo much! I am assuming that it cannot be so bad as it is a daily occurence for about 3 weeks now, but theres no pain and it is never much and ive just been hit with the worse heartburn ever. Whenever I have a doubt about something the heartburn always brings me back down

I've had this on and off for the last week or so. I've just had one brown spot of CM per day and a little bit sometimes when I wipe. I had a scan at 7 + 4 yesterday and saw our little bubba and a healthy heartbeat so we know all is fine.

When my doctor examined me a week ago she said I had what looked like a polyp on my cervix which could be causing it. Horrible tho! Makes me on Knicker watch a lot more often!
