hello
i'm getting married in april this year.
we're both money saving freaks, and save any penny we can.
we wanted a simple wedding,
and so far we've nearly got everything, including venues, photographer, outfts, etc for under 1k
but we only spent £50 on the rings.
it was an argos jobby.
at the time, i was fine with it, cos we dont do fancy, but the more i look at them the more i wish i had spent more.
they are just plain gold slim wedding bands.
i spoke to tom and he doesn't want to pay anymore,
and when we picked the rings it was sweet cos they had one of each ring left and they were strangely our exact sizes!
does it really matter is the rings didn't cost alot?
and what do people think about replacing them when we have spare money to splash out? tom doesn't like this idea, as he thinks the ring we give each other on the day should stay for life..
just curious on peoples thoughts?
