Bugaboo donkey Duo - does it fit through normal doors?

I'm due to have children 18 months apart and didn't have the foresight (!) to buy a buggy that could turn into a double in the beginning.

I've pretty much decided on the donkey duo and I'm saving up for it now. I am just wondering does it fit through shop doors? This is a deal breaker for me!

Also if anyone has one I would be interested generally how you find it. I went for a middle range (price) buggy last time and have spent the last 13 months wishing I'd gone for the bugaboo as my friend has the single one and it is streets ahead

I replied to your post in toddler club already but just in case someone here might have different advice, here is my answer too. As far as I know from my own research, the only side by side to fit through any and every door is the Mountain Buggy Duet. It is only 25 inches wide as opposed to the 29.13 of the Donkey. I absolutely ADORE our Mountain Buggy as it is easy to steer and it is so adaptable. It isn't cheap but then neither is the donkey

I have no idea about the bugaboo, but I have a single off-road style pushchair and it doesn't fit through all shop doors or down all aisles in shops I want to go to. I've actually gotten stuck in doors and had to have shop owners come help me get unwedged! It's enough of a pain, I've actually started only wearing my daughter in her wrap to go into town so I can go anywhere I want without having to think of if we fit.

I've had the donkey and never came across a door it didnt fit......
Obviously it is difficult in busy shops or clothes shops with loads of racks etc but otherwise it's perfect.
I also live in a new build house and it fitted through our doors.

I have the donkey, and love it!
Yes its a tight squeeze through some doors but I can always get in. The only places Ive had real bother are in some of those quirky little gifty shop places in touristy areas if you know what I mean.

my friend has a bugaboo donkey hun and it fits fine through normal doors (well doors in her house and my house which i think are just standard doors) I loooooove that pram! Are you finding out if pink or blue this time? Facebook me if you dont want to say on here x

My sis ditched her donkey for a mountain buggy duet and is heaps happier. She said the 4 inch width made all the difference for her. It steers well and has great storage too (apparently).
