I'm going mad looking for a sun shade for my buggy

I dont get why it's so hard. I don't want a parasol type one - all I want is a rectangular one that clips on to my buggy and extends to make a kind of roof to keep the sun off DS's head.

I've spent hours searching online and all I can see is ones that come down over the front of the buggy too so DS won't be able to see (and he won't be happy at all!) or flimsy parasols :growlmad:

There doesn't seem much choice : /

I actually have two buggies - a proper one (with short hood that doesn't really keep the sun off) and a lightweight one for travelling that has no hood at all. They're both forward facing. Ideally, I'd like a sunshade for both, although I appreciate I may need to buy two different ones because of the hood/no hood difference.

I'm in the UK and in the middle of nowhere so would buy online.

Any suggestions, ladies?

TIA : )

The summer infants ray shade, you can buy it on Amazon. I used to live in San Diego. It fitted both our buggies no problem and for all it comes far out baby really can still see. It also allows you to pull it right forward when baby is napping if you unclip the back clasp.

Was gonna suggest the same!

Ah I need that, I bloody hate fiddling with the parasol every few minutes. Thanks

Im planning on getting a my buggy buddy one.. that just clips onto the hood.

I hate all these parasols.. They never fit my pram !

Shade a babe is what we have. He can definitely see through it.

Thank you everyone :flower:

I really appreciate all of your replies : )

I ended up going with a Diono. I'm very pleased with it so far. It really does the trick in keeping him shaded and is really easy to attach. I haven't tried collapsing it back into the bag yet (it's a pop-up one) so that's my only worry : D
