Bumbo - how old?

When did you start putting LO in the bumbo?

Xander was 3 1/2 months, he could hold his head up fine and it was for a minute or 2 each day, i dont use mine now as he sits in his highchair or walker

Fran was 10 weeks - but hated it because her thighs were too chunky and it was very restricting. I wish I'd looked at other alternatives first x

I put my little girl in hers for the first time today. Only for short periods. Her head control is good. She didn't mind it but I think she'll enjoy it more as the weeks go on.

Alex has gone in his for the first time properly today, but only for a few minutes. He's 14 weeks tomorrow.

When she could hold her head up at 2½ months. She always slumped to the side though and hated it. She preferred it once she could sit unaided at 5½ months, she has chunky thighs but loves to sit in it and watch mummy pick up the toys she's purposely thrown off her tray

3 months for short periods, 4 months for longer periods when head control is better
