Hello everyone,
I'm 36 years old and have a 3 year old. Got my BFP on 23 May after IUI and my EDD is 31st Jan.
I had my first doc appointment on Tuesday at 6w and during the scan, the doc found a gestational sac with nothing inside. She estimates me to be around 5w. The worrying issue is she found multiple fibroids, with the biggest around 5 cm. She has expressed that I should have a c section due to this as she is sure the fibroids will grow as the pregnancy progresses. Fortunately I haven't had any bleeding so far.
While she thinks everything should be fine, she put me on progesterone. Other than fatigue and a bit of pregnancy brain, I haven't had as bad MS as my first pregnancy and now I'm beginning to wonder if something is wrong.
I would really love to find some people to go on this journey with as I found that really helpful in my previous pregnancy. If anyone has experience as an over 35 pregnant mom or have had fibroids while pregnant, I would really love to talk to you as well.
