Can feel a small (matchhead size maybe) bump/spot on my cervix, doctor can feel it but couldnt see it, referred for coloscopy but just wondered if anyone has had anything like this themselves and what was it? xx
Yip it's essentially the same as a smear but they use a microscope camera to see the cervix much more clearly. Usually they have a tv screen set up to look at which you can choose to look at at (I don't).
Ah thanks for that, will try not to worry then, probably nothing as wouldnt of known if I hadnt been cervix position checking anyway! Thatl teach me lol x
No worries at all, at least you know your body really well. You'll probably find it interesting to see your cervix on the screen. Hope your appointment goes well. x
