Well the smear wasn't as bad as I was expecting. Although have had some spotting since having it so thats majorly annoying as I'm not due on for about 10 days!

LK, glad smear was ok. Also, screw your ex. Stupid git obviously cares more about himself than his child. Sorry, but men like him (and my sister's ex twatface) really pee me off. :( (rant over, sorry!)

Kte (and anyone else who's feeling poorly) hope you feel better soon. Also, Kte, my sis's smear said abnormal cells too so she has to go back in June. Apparently it's very normal after pregnancy to be 'abnormal', lol. This is where I confess that at age 28, I have never had a smear test done & other than my OH & the 2 midwives & 1 consultant on the day of H's birth, no one else has been near my lady bits, lol. I really should book one... :dohh:

Kaites- what a great video of Emma! She looks like a great poster child for BLW. Harry's been 3 days now without solids & doesn't seem to care at all, so I'm thinking I may e jumped the gun in beginning to wean him... I think i gave him some to begin with because everyone's always saying how small he is & how he needs fattening up & stuff & it really gets to me so i kinda felt pressure to start weaning to please the ppl around me... I've decided we'll review everything on a weekly basis & see what he needs etc & judge it from there, but for now, TW mash/purees will probably suit him better, then give lumps & soft finger foods, then go from there, taking it slow n steady.

Maffie, the BF course sounds ace & I reckon you'll be great at it.

Ummmmm. I've forgotten what else I was gonna say.... Ummmm, can I still claim pregnancy brain?

Ordered my little wedding favours at weekend, so hopefully they'll come soon. And I need to buy some wonderweb stuff as H's suit trousers are wayyyyy too long as I got 3-6mths thinking he'd be bigger by now. The shirt, waistcoast & cravat seem ok, but the trousers are just silly atm. :dohh: Caleb's are too long aswell. We must have midgit legs in our family, lol.

OH has got his stag do on saturday. Should be interesting..... I'm not having a hen night as the logistics of getting my friends from all over Eng & wales is impossible. Kinda sad at that, but oh well. I'm just hoping his best man doesn't get him doing anything stupid like shaving his eyebrows off or handcuffing him to a bus shelter or something...

anyways, I need sleep. And lots of it... and maybe a mint aero bar too. but mainly sleep.... :coffee:

Morning all,

Hope we're all ok. I've finally managed to get the pictures from the weekend sorted. 1st one is Earl (4.5 months) with his cousin (11 months) - madness. The second one is Earl with Hubby at the NRM....he had such a good time.

Can't stop on long. Earl is on the floor and has managed to lose both socks and shuffle his way halfway off his mat towards the dog, who doesn't look too happy at the progress he's making lol.

Flora - We had a choking incident last night. Not as bad as yours but Earl was not happy after. So much so that ths morning Earl was eating some apple, a bit broke off in his mouth and he screamed thinking it would happen again. He carried on though so he's not too traumatised. And he luuurves fromage frais we've discovered this morning  Bought him some Frubes (9 for 90p in Co-op last night!!) and as he oly eats a small amount, even though they're quite bad for sugar, I thought we'd give them a go, and he wolfed it down lol.

Best be off.....we're now almost at the dog :haha:

Lovely day everyone xx

Arghhh my post! :haha: I clicked on Aimee's pics and lost it! Ah well, will try again this aft!

p.s Lovely pics Aimee!

Morning Girls,

Well I come on with sad news. My friend who I told you about died last night at 5.35 EST. So sad because he leaves a wife and 2 little kids, but I'm happy for him because he is no longer in pain. His Wife said, after he took his last breath, his son (6) took his Dads stethoscope and put it to his chest to listen and when he heard silence he understood. Such a harsh lesson. Gonna miss his smiling face and his big ol bear hugs. But at least he is happy now.

In other news we have a St. Patricks day play date today. I found Autumn the cutest little outfit at the consignment sale for 3 bucks the other day. Play dates are always good for cheering up!

Loving all the BLW pics. Kaites, that second picture of Emma eating the celery .. her expression cracks.me.up.

Flora ~ Sorry to hear about your scary moment. I'm glad he's ok!!!!

As for Autumn, I've tried giving her home made chicken stew the other day. All it was, was veggies, chicken and stock. No seasoning. Oh the dramatics that followed haha. I can't work out if its just she prefers sweet stuff, or if she does not like lumpy texture. She loves smooth mush and she loves 'whole' foods. The faces .. haha, gawd, I wish I had video'd it.

Kte ~ How exciting about moving. During my childhood (not thru choices of my own) between the ages of 14 to 15 I think my mother moved me about 8 times lol. I've lived by my self since I was 15 and so in 14 years I've lived in Scotland, Sunderland, Kent, London (Various places) and America.

Maffie ~ Hope Noah is feeling better.

LK ~ Do you have 'baby vicks' back home? It really helped Autumn with her cold. It more soothes than anything else. Hope James feels better soon!!
Yay James on 22 weeks .. Autumn is 24 today .. its NUTS!!

Aimee ~ wow @ those pics. Earl is gonna be TALL!!

Ok I think I might go see the Chiro. Woke up with a cracking headache. Have a fab day!!

Oh, and Happy St. Paddys day from Miss Autumn :)

Afternoon all,

Chaos:hugs: Sorry to hear about your friend passing away, as you say, at least he is no longer in pain but it still never makes it easy to loose someone. By the sounds of it you have fond memories of him to treasure :flower:

Such a cute pic of Autumn!

Flora I was the same, 27 years without anyone going near me then I think we lost count when Chloe was born, kind glad I blacked out! Hope your Sis's comes back as normal in June :D

Was impressed I was getting into bed for 9 last night when Nigel rolled over and knocked a glass of juice over some extension sockets. So in all the commotion it woke up Chloe. I fed her and tried to get her back to sleep but she just wouldn't! I had her in bed with me to try and help but she kept on trying to look at the bedside lamp, she was rubbing her eyes and chomping on her dummy but would just not settle. I eventually took her downstairs at half 10 as I thought half a dose of calpol might work and I quickly popped her in the Moses basket downstairs and *ping* she was out like a light! Didn't think that she is normally asleep before I pop her in her travel cot so she obviously couldn't settle in there yet. I just popped the basket in her travel cot and that was it until 6.15!

Haha he must be in trouble for that as I've never seen you call him by his full name on here ;)

Damn cushion thats what the problem was. My Sunday name is very rarely used

 at the 'sunday name.'

Q: heat rash.... how long does a baby have it for? harry's had what I assumed was heat rash for nearly 48 hrs now. Is that normal? He doesn't appear bothered at all, but he is covered from the neck to ankles... His back & face & feet are ok tho. Weird?

Lol, Oops on the Sunday name :haha: I had written the same thing to my Mum so after I lost it this morning on the forum I copied and pasted, hence his sunday name for her lol

Flora: Not sure, didn't think they lasted that long tho.

Chloe isn't too well at the moment. Really not sure what it is, I though her teething was playing her up but it doesn't seem like that is it. She is all pale, she is happily playing away at the moment but as soon as she tries to go to sleep she starts screaming, has a really high squeal to it and quite husky too. She eating quite a lot too. She doesn't have a temp or anything but she just doesn't look herself or act 100%. Nij had to collect her early from CM today so pending tonight / tomorrow am I may not go into work, use one of my 6 days for cases like this and have a paid day off and get her into the docs possibly. She has had calpol and is still a bit iffy :(

Kte - Poor Chloe. Hope she feels better soon. Just out of interest how much does she weigh now? Cos James was only 1oz lighter at birth.

Well we have had a better today asides from a major argument with FOB. He is being a complete pr**k and accused me of bragging to people that I knew exactly what he was up to cos I knew all his passwords. And even when I swore on James's life that I hadn't he didn't believe me! So I told him to f*** off and hung up.

James has been in the best mood today lol. He is sat in his bouncer kicking his legs about and getting all excited cos nanny has a yogurt! Every time she puts the spoon towards him he nearly leaps out of his chair, opens his mouth and grabs for the spoon lol. He tried sweet potato for the first time for dinner and loved it.

Last weigh she was 16lbs 4 oz, that was last Tuesday, she is on 91st centile

:grr: FOB, argh what an idiot!!!!!!!!!!! He seriously needs to grow up!

:hugs:

He he bless James :haha:

Evening all

oh bought himself a new camera so ive opened it to test it :haha: gosh its fandangled!!!

hope Chloe is better soon kte.

Noah slept 11 hours last night after 2 days of no proper sleep.

Chaos massive :hugs:

LK dont let fob wind you up he's not worth it, its him missing out.

Thanks girls. He messaged me on FB saying we needed to talk and he wanted me to drive to Swindon to meet him next Monday. So I wrote him a rather rude message back lol.

Had to share some pictures of James from the last week or so.

LK - James looks so adorable in them pics.

Didn't FOB say he was going to meet you in Swindon this week? IMO he has had his chances if he wants to talk he should come to you no excuses! Sorry he is being like this with you.

Maffie - get using it and get pics up! :)

When I collected Chloe from CM yesterday she kept saying sorry, I don't thnk she can cope. Yeah Chloe was a little grizzely and when she was crying it was loud but all afternoon I had her (1.15 till 5) she only cried twice, the first time was for her bottle the second time I tried a few things but eventually I put her in her Moses basket in the hall and she dropped off to sleep within minutes (and at the most she had been crying for 10 minutes), so she wasn't hard work.
Again. she thinks Chloe needs weening, I swear down I'll ween the CM onto bricks if she don't shut up!

It looks like were off to Bridgwater on Saturday looking at propertys, booked to view 3. So that will be a long day, 5 hours there (including half hour stop to feed Chloe) look at houses (I guess 4 to 5 hours in total) then 5 hours back again. The driving isn't a problem I am used to that it's everything else lol.

Must say having mixed feelings with camera, went out taking some pics of flowers and stuff, i cant believe we now have a nikon d40, d80 and a d90. oh bought be a nikon coolpix for my bday too. think we have camera obession here :haha:

well ive woken to bad chest and asthma is playing up, i cant seem to pump much milk when im rough, i do have a back up of 65 oz in the freezer though, went through it to see what i had last night.

I gave noah jarred food yesterday with feeling rough, he doesnt like it as much as home cooked food, i think its cos its such sloppy texture.

I think she wanted home comforts and daddy cuddles to make her feel better! Well, she was pale with red circles around her eyes last night when I got in!! She isn't well but not unmanageable, she's asleep at the mo. I'm thinking / hoping it just some 24hr bug thing, I'd rather keep her at home today, keep an eye on her and see what's what.

Lol yeah, she'd be on full sausages by now as well if CM had her way :haha:

The house bit will be fun, its just all those facts and figures!!

Maffie : Lol I need simple camera's, I'm not bad with technology but all those setting on camera's make my mind boggled!

LK : Gorgeous pics of James :)

Best go, Chloe has awoken from her nap!
