Kte love your new siggie

I will wear shorts if pushed, I have loads of dresses but got out the habit. I hate my figure really need to shift more weight after this baby. Im petrified of labour again and doing it alone too.

Dont think i'll be up much later im tired, might watch casualty though.

Kte, I'm with you on the 'rose tinited glasses' view of labour... I still look back & cringe & think OMG, how did I get through that?! But it doesn't put me off having another... Funnily enough, the one thing that puts me off (but not enough to actually stop me) is money, because I want my kids to have everything I didn't have (not that I went without much, but ya know) & I worry that if we have too many kids, we wont be able to do that, if that makes sense? Also, your new siggy is gorgeous! :)

Lol, I dont even own any dresses... well actually, I own my wedding dress & my 2 graduation dresses & my sister's bridesmaid dress... But it's not like they will ever be worn again. I'm thinking of keeping my wedding dress, but having the other 3 dry cleaned & see if I can sell them on... I own 2 skirts... my 'interview' skirt which is like a size 10, so will probably never fit me again & a pink flowery floaty 'thing' that I haven't worn in about 5 years, but it's pretty, lol. I am a jeans & tee girl all the way...

Aimee it was Baby.Love's post about Sienna falling out of her cot that got me really freaked out too :dohh: and I agree, saturday night TV is pants now :(

Saturday night TV sucks here too, lol :)

I guess I was lucky with Emma and labour went fast and I don't remember it as being too bad  I remember being on the computer, reading Flora's post about her waters breaking and then when I stood up to go to the bathroom and thought I pee'd myself a little, just to wake up later that night in a pool of wetness :haha: Emma arrived about 5hrs later. For me, it was pregnancy that sucked and I'm sure next time 'round I'll be bricking the 20 week scan. Financially, the earliest we can TTC is January. Since I'll hopefully be self-employed, I need to be paying into federal benefits for 1 year before I can collect any mat leave benefits. Realistically, we should probably wait a bit longer just for a buffer- my luck I'd get pregnant right away and then have a premmie and not be eligible for mat leave pay. Anyhoo, need to find my sex drive before worrying about TTCing

I'm a jeans girl in the winter but into the skirts in the summer. I like catching a breeze up my skirt in the summer :haha: Most shorts just look too short on me so I think that's why I mostly have skirts for the summer.

Kte- cute siggy! Hope Chloe enjoys the steam trains :)

Neon- hope Thom's teeth feel better soon!

Aimee- Hope your dad is feeling better soon :hugs:

Tomorrow I'm getting together with one of my best friends for a bit of shopping. I haven't seen her in a while- combination of me being busy with Emma and her spending all her weekends with her new boyfriend. I'm sure it'll be awkward since we have drifted apart since Emma's arrival.

I think it's more the whole hours and hours I was forced to try and push her out issue even though I kept on saying it's not doing anything, mostly my labour was actually okay, well as okay as it can be in a warm pool sucking on G&A! So really I am being daft because I wouldn't let them do it to me again! There would be lots of shouting and expletives until they got the message! :haha:

Did anyone see the episode of Eastenders recently when Stacy had her baby? I though it was amusing when she said she had had everyones hands up her like she was a tombola raffle (or something along those lines), made me chukkle.

Maffie: I'm sure you won't be alone, would you consider taking your Mum? :hugs:

Flora: Dresses, hmm yep I own 1, which was my bridesmaid dress that I wore at my sisters wedding and then I used it a few years later to go to a graduation ball at work lol So it's back in the loft again in a box awaiting its next outing, who knows when that will be!

I really need to lover Chloe's cot too, my Mum came over with a cot bumper which is now in place and looks great! She was badly getting her legs stuck in, she isn't as mobile as the other bumpkins yet it seems so maybe it will last a week or so. She has started to roll onto her tummy but can't roll back again and I so found her asleep on her front today, freaked me out! I take it back, i think she will be a crawler as she has started to flip over on the floor, she just kinds of wiggles then gets all agitated but it's early days. *so the point of the rambling is, I am freaked she could fall out but know she is okay at the moment as she isn't pulling herself up*

Aimee: Thats crazy about not getting full care for your Dad, its not as if he suddenly returns to normal during these times, stupid social. Hope he gets better and that it isn't too hectic you helping take care of him. :flower: I second the Sat TV is rubbish!

Kaites: Hope the shopping trip with your friend doesn't turn out to be awkward and you have a fab time :flower:

Right best get off my behind and go wash my hair, trying to hunt down something to make using beef steak, got it ages ago to make a casserole but a) and don't have a casserole dish :dohh: and b) don't have any other casserole type ingredients. Badly need to do a shop!

Woo hoo we have a tooth!!! Finally :) one of sam's front bottom teeth has come through the gum. I think the other 3 are almost through too, so it looks like after all his pain and grizzling since 10 weeks that all 4 are gonna come through together.

Im not scared of having another baby, labour doesnt bother me, think i'll be more chilled out with another pregnancy as sam got here safely but OH is adament he wants no more kids and that sam is enough for him :( never mind ive got studying to keep me occupied for at least another 5 years!

I got another merit for biology work, but been told i need to go more in depth into my work not just skim over a subject - it was sooooo boring though, i was doing classification tables for living things starting with plants and flowers then moving onto animals.

Hiya girls..

Sorry for worrying everyone  Sienna seems to be a bit of a daredevil!!!! But she is fine and no worse off from her experience.

I am so jeleous of all the pregnant bumpkins, we are WTT until feb but i am mega broody now... I cant wait to be pregnant again :cloud9:
How are we all enjoying the heat? I love it but the kids dont.

Right i am off for lunch then getting set for the football

Kte ~ I miss Eastenders!!

Jo ~ Yay for teeth! Congrats on the credit :)

BL ~ What did Sienna do?

Chaos, She decided to throw herself OUT of her cot :dohh: It is now on the lowest setting as my heart couldnt take it if she did it again... Congrats on the new pregnancy hun

Afternoon all

Kte my family will be moving too

Went to a carboot was roasting then popped into mamas and papas and supermarket for some salad.

This hot weather makes me so tired.

Noah is so cheeky at the moment he keeps trying to lunge for people food and just clamping his mouth to it.

He's figured crawling on the sofa pretty well today. :happydance: So looks like movement is getting much better. Still no teeth have cut.

Hey all!!

Haven't posted for a while again! Back at work now and think there need to be more hours in the day!! Its going good though, kids love the child minder and have loads of fun, so i'm really pleased about that! Just panicking now about what i'm going to do when I goto college in Sept, not sure what I will do work wise? Gonna try get some bar work or see about the local Tesco! Sure it will all work itself out.

I went out to a house warming party last night, drank farr too much wine but had a good night  wore a maxi dress and managed to trip up over it, one the stairs!! And fell down about 10 steps on my bum  everyone rushed over to me, embarrassing or what!!

Soo i'm abit hungover this morning, OH has taken DD to nannies to watch the football so its just me and my little man today, we've been on a nice walk to Tesco and got some bits for my dinner this week at work, on a major diet and want to loose 10lb in 5 weeks  hope I can do it!! Not doing very well so far today, but thats hangovers for you :haha: will start again tomorrow :winkwink:.

Right now, Theo is fast asleep (has been since like 3pm!) and i'm watching England...how poo?! Need to peel myself off the couch soon and do abit of tidying up before OH & DD get home...make it look like ive been doing something lol!!

Hope you are all well, have skim read the last few pages...congrats on the pregnany Chaos :happydance: hope your MS goes soon!!

Please please rain im so hot and uncomfortable. Scan tomorrow so might have a nice soak in the bath later when it cools down. Noah is asleep the heats made him a mix of narky and bouncy

Whats a hangover mellie I cant remember

Maffie :haha: I used to think being pregnant was like a constant hangover, feeling tired, sick, achy lol....good luck with your scan tomorrow!! x

Maffie, hope the scan goes ok tomorrow & that they give you a more realistic due date, lol.

OMG.... I'm sooooooo sticky & hot! I swear I didn't sweat this much before having Harry!!! I feel all gross & ucky & Harry's all sticky too :( On a great note though, little man decided to sleep through 13 hours straight last night!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And boy did my boobs know it! :dohh: I was in booby agony when I got up to go through to his room & feed him, thinking it was like 5am or something, then looked at the clock & it said 8:56am & was like, oh, ok, time to get up, no wonder my boobs are rock solid! He must've been starving coz he drained both boobs & fed for just short of an hour, then 30 mins after that he wolfed down his breakfast too, bless him. I could use more nights like that! (ok, so he usually wakes up once during the night so it's not like he's a bad sleeper or anything, but still, that's the first night's full sleep I've had in ages!)

Anyone watching Glastonbury on TV? Muse were amazing lastnight :) Sure beats watching the shiteness of the football, lol.

Ive avoided all football. I dont think im getting a full scan as its not at my hospital flora its just to check baby is ok, ive an actual dating scan the week after :dohh:

Awww Sam :hugs: hope your first day back goes okay & that it goes fast for you! Hope George enjoys nursery too! :)

x

Earl take about 40 mins to get to sleep at the moment as he spends ages sitting up to play with his cot bars and pull himself up. Also, since baby.love's Sienna toppled out of her cot I'm paranoid that Earl is going to do the same. He also pulls himself up onto his knees and hasn't worked out how to get back down onto his bottom and topples backwards, hitting his head on the bars behind him! This cycle goes on and on - I have to go in every 1 minute and lie him back down so that he doesn't keep hitting his head but I missed him 3 times tonight so he's got a red mark that I think will burn into a bruise

Oh yes, it's the old using-the-cot-bars-as-a-xylophone and head-as-a-drumstick trick isn't it? You're very dedicated, Aimee, going back in every minute. I've concluded that it's gonna happen whether I'm there or not (in fact Monty often does this while I'm actually watching him), so at some point he's got to learn the hard way.
