good morning!

Just a quick hello as I drink my coffee before finishing the last of camping packing. Did most of it last night and the car has everything except clothing and food in it already

Flora- I'm jealous of Harry's sleeping! :) Hope you and Harry get well soon! Canada Day is like our version of Independence Day (hmmm- except for still being a British colony so maybe not so independent, lol). It was when our constitution was signed and the country was founded rather than us just being a random mix of provinces :) Means lots of beer and fireworks :haha:

LK- hope James is feeling better!

Kte- that's funny about the hammer :) Hubby bought Emma a teether that was shaped like a hammer a while back and she's discovered it and plays with it most evenings before bed too. Maybe we've got a couple of potential tomboys ;)

Anyway, I gotta get back to work. Hope everyone is having a good day and has a lovely weekend!

Im a bit of a geek and went and had a read about Canada Day to see what it was all about. :haha:

kte, yeah when H wakes up at about 7am ish, he is all awake & giggly & happy to see people, lol. He then has 1 boob, I burp & change him, then I sit him in his cot with his toys while i go pee & get a drink, then he has the other boob, then falls back to sleep. At first, I was getting up with him at that time & starting our day properly, but within 1-2 hours, he was grizzly & really tired & would then sleep most of the morning up to lunch sometimes, which seemed like a waste of the day, so that's why I keep him in his room now and within an hour, he's back to sleep, and I go back to bed too & wake up whenever he does. I feel it works best for us (me, more like) & means he can have a late breakfast, late (snack style) lunch & normal time tea, otherwise he was sleeping through mealtimes & stuff :dohh:

Kaites, thanks for the explaination of Canada Day :) I hope it was fun for you all! And have a wicked time camping. Let us know how it went!

LK- hope James feels better soon! How do you cope working shifts??? I would be like the walking dead, lol.

Colsy, I meant to say, my eldest nephew was quite literally obsessed with a wooden spoon when he was about 10-12 months old- it had to go blimming everywhere with him or he would scream. It was like the best 'toy' ever for him!!!

Maffie, hows the MS now? Has it started to alleviate yet? Have you got much of a bump yet? when's your next scan? (you did say, but i forgot)

Chaos, still sending you lots of super-massive :hugs:

Those of you with little girls. My best friend from Norfolk had a little girl beginning of May. I'll be going to visit them at last mid august, but i want to get her some lovely presents. What would you recommend? She doesn't need any nursery things or anything in newborn & 0-3... I'm just kinda clueless with baby girls & also there is SO much choice out there that's it's mental compared to boy's stuff!!!

Its daft, I have a little girl and I am struggling to think! :dohh: I'm trying to think what others have got me that Chloe likes or is something good but I didn't think of. For Chloe's christening someone got her a Jemima puddle duck teddy with a teether and sqweeker in it, that was quite sweet and cute. She got a Dumbo teddy that plays twinkle twinkle which she is fond of too. Ooo oo also, a little pink box for mini keep sakes. I'll go take a pic of it so you can see what I mean! :flower:

Here you go :)

Happy camping Kaites

MS not too bad Flora, it's more nausea than actual vomiting now.

Morning all,

Enjoy the camping Katies.

Maffie: Glad the MS not as bad :flower:

Flora: Also, you can't go wrong with a nice pack of tights! They will be super handy come autumn / winter. Thats a good routine you and Harry are in now. Work kind of disturbed ours but she hasn't actually got up yet so think she is in favour of a lie in at the weekend!!!

Hope everyone has a nice weekend ahead :flower:

My little cat is doing my head in this morning! She was a the front door meowing to go out so I let her out and literally straight away she is meowing to come in again :dohh: Daft thing is, its so nice out I have left the back door open! Which she comes in in eventually then goes to the front and meows to go out again  ARGH! Now my other car just stole the remainder of my breakfast cereal - CATS!!!

:hugs: x

Our house seems so be a cat hostel, open the door and half the cats from the street come in :dohh:

Well im packing boxes up today, making this place look even smaller and messier than normal as I try to sort stuff for when we move. (Not that I know when that will be)

Noah was up loads in the night 11.30, 12.30, 1.30 (for a feed), 2.30 and 5, then up properly at 6.30 im drained, he's gone back to bed after his breakfast but im too busy to join him.

Mum thinks it's because he's hit alot of milestones this week. This week he's managed to sit up on his own, crawl forwards, stand up with furniture he took a step and fell back down :haha: and say mam.

Im surprised how much he's come on in a week

Hi all, hope were all well. Well i have done my first week back at work, and by god it was a long week, i cried every morning before i took George into Nursery, finding it very hard, but i suppose i need to get myself into a routine, im so glad its the weekend!! Hope everyone is well and babies are all doing well too xxxxxxxxx

Sam: :hugs: It's sure draining, hope you enjoy your well deserved weekend and lots of George cuddles. :flower:

Maffie: That is impressive, what Noah has learnt to do! It's strange how just all of a sudden they do or try something. Thankfully no random cats, 3 is quite enough!!

I have had to put a post in baby forum, I'm worried Chloe might have chicken pox :grr: https://www.babyandbump.com/baby-club/363100-chicken-pox-pictures.html Hope it's not the case, Maffie I have text you too!

Replied Kte although my phones been rubbish at sending texts lol, im not worried about chicken pox (only measles)

I'd be freaked at measles! Defo don't think its those, been checking NHS website and her symptoms are not 'measels' like. I'm a bit worried about what it says about pregnant women though :( https://www.nhs.uk/Conditions/Chickenpox/Pages/Complications.aspx

I got your text okay, it's totally up to you :D

It will just be a heat rash after all this :haha:

Evening all, had a lovely afternoon meeting Kte and Chloe is just adorable. Trying to get Noah to be nice and calm and content like her :haha:

Had a lovely afternoon too Maffie, Noah was so adorable as well, so into everything bless him. Still makes me chuckle thinking about them trying to take his toy phone off each other :haha:

Not the best pic taken but Chloe gave the jumparoo (always get confused on the spelling lol) a test run before she crashed for the night.

 who would think they'd tug over a little phone. He's just gone to bed (after biting the end off my flake) :dohh:

You'll have to get her to spin round to the music side to wake Nij up :haha:

Was great thanks Chaos, nice to meet a bumpkin :D

Morning all,

Chloe was up early but I managed to swindle a lie in until 7.30. She was so happy for the first hour but has been a bit grizzily since, she was sleepy but wanted to play. She has only just gone down for her first nap of the day which is unusual. Spots seems to be going too thankfully :D

Maffie: Lol he isn't going to be impressed with all those nursery rhyms :haha: I had her facing that way this morning and once she found the buttons (with her 'E.T finger' that was it! She keeps on trying to pick up those weird little characters round the other side instead of pushing them down :dohh: but i'm sure she will figure it. :D

Thanks Chaos, what Maffie said, couldn't of put it better! :D How are you? :flower:

:hi@ ladies. just a qui8ck pop in as I'm really super tired. Feel much better after feeling so crappy all week, but have had a busy weekend. Bought Harry a cool activity thingy from Toys R Us that wasnt too dear, so that was cool & managed to get a new bed for the spare room. Hoping to finish painting the last wall in my room tomorrow, then OH can buy & fix the skirting boards back to the walls & put the new curtain pole up & then it's just the woodwork round the door & window frames to sand back & repaint... then just the hallway to do & we're technically done... (although I believe with a house, there is always something to be done, lol)

Harry's not eating again... He only ate a bite of a piece of bread & half a chip from daddy's plate today... and only had 5 BFs rather than the 7-8n he has been having... But he's pooed & peed fine, so I guess it's ok. Hopefully he'll be more up for eating tomorrow, as it was really humid in southampton today....

anyways, gotta go to bed.

:hugs: to you all. I'll reply proper-like tomorrow. xxx
