Hello all! Sorry I'm a bit late to the party...or I suppose all of you got a jump start on 2011. DH and I just sat down tonight and made the definitive decision to start TTC this June, and I'm super excited about it! We've been talking about kids FOREVER (have been together for over 9 years and married for just a little over 1 year), but I'm notoriously bad about making up my mind and sticking to long-term plans - I'm just really impatient. So far I've wanted to have kids, do foster care, host a foreign exchange student, work abroad (we live near Indianapolis, IN, in the US), start my own business, etc, etc... None of those are dreams I want to give up on, but I can never decide what order would work the best for us! It also doesn't help that I'm not a fan of my current day job (working as a health coach - I work in a call center and I hate hate hate being on the phone with people 10 hours a day, even if it's only 4 days per week - I much prefer working with people in person, and I'm a huge birth junkie, so I'd really like to either move full-time into my own business as a birth doula [not currently possible - hubby doesn't have a full-time job/benefits that can make up for me quitting my current job] or find a job that focuses exclusively on maternal/child public health). So I'm wanting to find something new before March so that I can still take advantage of maternity leave if we end up getting pregnant right away. Then we've decided that we will also host a foreign exchange student for the fall semester only, instead of the full academic year like we were originally talking, and that way we'll be popping out a baby a couple months after our student goes back to his/her home country.

I'm thinking 2011 is going to be a FANTASTIC year!!

Forgot about this thread! we kinda didn't wait lol! i'm 25 weeks pregnant today lol!! should only just be starting this month if we had done what we originally planned!!
