butlins holidays NOT SKEGNESS

So weve got a sun hol bolked for may in yarmouth. Were looking at booking another in nov. We were thinking of going to butlins, im lead to believe the skegness butlins is the best of the 3.

The only snag being we live in skegness so no way ill holiday there, actually oh works there

So anyone been to the bognor or minehead butlins? Was it a good holiday?

Bognor. Loved it there loads to do abd loads there. Accomodation is great and loads of choices fpr restaurants etc. The skyline pavilion has loads there and different types of entertainment.
I personaly heard bognor was the best tho! Pebble beach tho..

Can i ask you abouy sun hols, never done ot before and we are currently collecting the tokens, do we still book beforehand or do we have to wait till we have 10?

I go to the Minehead one nearly every year. Lots to do on camp and there's also traditional steam trains, plus a castle not too far away. The town itself is gorgeous (would love to live there lol) and it has a really nice beach.

You have to collect all 10. Bookong opens saturday i think. Its never just 9.50 each though. Ours in may has workes out at 22 each but still cheap. Could of been less but we didnt want to take our own sheets etc

I prefer mine head. Lovely little town and just friendlier people.

We went to minehead for the first time last year and loved it. We were a week shy of the steam railway opening for the season so we're going back in May this year

We have been to the one in Bognor several times and are booked to go again in July. The children love it - we go with my SIL and her son too - and we have never had any issues. I think the only letdown is that the beach is pebbles, but it is literally right across the road from the beach and to be fair, the kids don't care that the beach is pebbles instead of sand!
