Buying a second baby monitor

My lo has a history of seizures so I still like the reassurance of being able to watch him on a video baby monitor during the night. Now that #2 is on the way I'm going to need my angel care monitor back. I had planned to just buy another angel care (but one without the movement sensor) but I've just discovered that it's not possible to use two in the same house. Does this apply to all video monitors?

I have one video monitor and one audio monitor and use both with no trouble (I did buy two different brands just in case). TBH, I only got the video one second time round because it was on special and I find it a) sort of creepy and b) no genuine advantage over audio only.

Maybe consider just getting an audio monitor second time around?
