Hi ladies.

I'm in Yorkhill hospital in Scotland with my preemie that I've been pumping for since birth. Supply has dwindled down to 20ml or less. I'm trying to pump more to bring it back up (I have a good freezer stash to fall back on but fresh is better). Getting Domperidone from GP. But have also heard of lactation cookies. Now I'm staying in a house for the parents of the babies/children staying in the hospital and the oven doesn't work so looking to buy some. Does any of you ladies know where I can buy some? Desperate to help things on a little for when Skylar gets to full feeds :flower:

Plus she's got the sucking thing down so hopefully no more tummy issues and we can try latching her next week :) bless her she roots every time she's out for kangaroo care and I come away with a chest full of baby slobber :haha:

Make your own! You can get the brewer's yeast and milled flaxseed for this recipe from Holland & Barretts. They're very yummy, but not so good for your waistline ;)

I can't as the oven doesn't work. I'm not at home. I've managed to persuade a friend to make some for me

TBH, the dough tastes yummy and is apparently more effective than if you cook them. Raw cookie dough is one of life's greatest pleasures!

Try Fenugreek, mothers milk and brewers yeast tablets. :) they worked for me!

Plain old simple porridge will also do wonders for you :flower:

I make my own! Good luck. One of my twins was in Yorkhill after choking. I hope your wee one gets better soon. Actually in am in Glasgow. If you want me to make you a batch pm me what you like ( choc chip, cinnamon, white chocolate, raisins) and I can drop them tomorrow lunch time to hospital. The only thing is you kind of kind of need to keep eating them for a few days to see the effect.

Thanks ladies. You're all wonderful xx my friend is going to have a go at baking them and I'm going to get DH to H&B for the fenugreek

Is it ok since there is raw egg in it?

Life is full of risks, and raw egg is one of them. However, it is a very, very small risk, though I must admit that I celebrated no longer being pregnant by eating pretty much everything that I hadn't eaten in the past 9 months, including raw cookie dough, and licking the bowl after making cake. Proper chocolate mousse is made with raw egg, and boiled runny eggs are also considered "raw" from the point of view of bacteria.
