Cake Making & Baking Group

that slice was given to OH. he said it was so rich he coouldnt eat another bit.. the slice was big though.. and I did a big curry for dinner! lol
I ate all my slice right up could have another but wont!!


how can I get the sponge to be more moist? it chilled for two hours in the fridge before cutting it.. and tasted a little dry to me.
 
Well ive just had an attempt at making a my first model teddy for a friend who has broken her leg...Still needs a lot of work doing but im pleased - so brew and bed for me now! :)

and the lemon buttercream is delish! lol

she wants to get married sometime next year but hasnt set an actual date yet!

You can buy dummy cakes to practice your decorating - but obv if you wanna practice your baking theres really no other way than baking and finding out for yourself!

I imagine she might want fruit cake for her wedding as thats usually the norm, you can buy these already made! Then cover yourself?? I *think* if covering fruit cake its best to marzipan it first before icing though xx

The rest is down to you and practice XX
 
Cassie have you ever been to Lymewood? The cakes in there are A-MAZ-ING!
 
No but everyone mentions how nice it is...its only round corner as well x
