Calling 1st time mums with a due date in August

This thread is so full of love

Last night I was watching Russel Howard's good news on BBC3 and there was a story about a mother and 6 month old baby daughter (who took 5 years to conceive) who were in a car crash. They were both put into intensive care and the baby pulled through but the mother was in a coma. The doctors were talking about unplugging her but every day the daddy put the baby in the mother's arms and every day she came a little bit more out of her coma til she woke up. The footage of the baby kissing and cuddling her mummy was so heart wrenching I cried like a little baby. Just thinking about it is making me well up.

In other news, hello queasiness and sickness

Oh my! What a sad but truly inspiring story! It just goes to show (yet again) that the doctors don't always know best. I'm so glad for that family and kudos to the dad for persevering!

I haven't gotten morning sickness yet, but I have had lots of faint nauseousness and queasiness each day for most of the last week.

I felt sick when I smelt coffee this morning! Weird, I love coffee :(
