Calling all ladies who have had an early scan.....

Hey ladies,

I have to have early scans because of having a molar pregnancy with chemo. I had one today to confirm this pregnancy isn't molar. I'm 5 weeks and 6 days from my last AF. I had what I thought was ovulation cramps cd15-16. Counted cd17 as 1dpo. 12dpo had the faintest of lines. So back to today..... At my scan I saw a sac and a yolk..... This would be right if I implanted a little later right? So I might be a few days behind? I have another scan in two weeks so hopefully bubba will be ticking away in there.

Just wondered if any of you ladies had any experience of this? I'm thinking it's ok but sure you all understand that niggle of worry!

I went for a scan at 5+6 (was dead sure of my dates) and I only saw gestational sac, nothing else! literally a few days later yolk and fetal pole appeared, so its still plenty early enough for everything to be A-ok!

Thank you lovely. I'm sure I'm a few days behind but it's reasure ung hearing other stories. I had a scan at 6+2 with my DD and saw a heartbeat so just concerned me a little.

Exactly the same happened to me. Had a scan at 5+5 and only saw gestational sack and yolk sack. Have another scan a week today just to make sure everythings going ok. Try not to worry, and congrats

With my second daughter, I had an early scan due not knowing my dates as I had irregular periods. I was 5+1 and I couldn't even see a heartbeat. Went back 2 weeks later and there was her heart beating

I went back two wk later a seen heartbeat aswel x

I had this, I have a history of miscarriages so I had a scan at around 5 1/2 weeks last Wednesday, they saw the sack and the yolk back a week on Wednesday to have another look. I'm just staying optimistic and trying not to worry, although I am feeling pretty crap so hopefully that's a good sign

I had an early mc so know that anything can happen. I do feel fairly positive so hears to a heartbeat! Hurry up 2 weeks!

With both of my pregnancies I saw the gestational and yolk sac at 5weeks. My last pregnancy I saw the heart beat at 6weeks. This time I'm seeing a different doctor so my next scan I'll be 7weeks. I should see the heart beat then.

two weeks ago on tuesday i went in for my scan i should have been 5-6 weeks and all they saw was a empty sack fast forward three days and there it was fetal pole heart beat baby and sack i couldnt understand how it went from nothing to everything in three days doctor said based what she saw i was 6 weeks three days i get another scar tomorrow for my 8th week i get scans every two week due to recurrent miscarriages dont worry most of the time if your blood work looks good and is going in the right direction the baby will catch up
