Anyone’s ever tried the evaporation line test w water??

Yes, I think it was One Step strips I used and I don't recall having an evap on them. Although, I have had an evap with my pee on those before. Not many though, they're usually reliable enough. I have had many shadows on them but it's realitively easy to tell the difference between the start of lines and shadows. Most of the time anyway! Occasionally they look convincing

Well I tried the evap trick and a pretty strong thick line with pinkish purplish color came to still a little hard to see, like a vfp, but more visible than at first. Not getting hopes up. Af due tomorrow but no signs of her! No more tests to pee on till tomorrow or Thursday! So I’m anxiously waiting for DH to go to the store! ��

After putting water on it?

I can see a line but it could be an evaporation line if it's nearly white. Leave it a few days and test on 14dpo. I got a very faint line on the day I missed my period and it took a good week for my line to get a lot darker. I then took a digital and it was positive. Testing really early just messes with the mind. Fingers crossed for a sticky baby x
