Ladybuggz, as it's only your 2nd cycle off of bc, are you sure you O'd? You could just be experiencing AF symptoms, because it can take a while for your body to return to normal. FX it is a little bean giving them to you though

Today I have woken with a raging cold. OH confirmed last night that he wont be coming home. He's going to stay with his parents, whilst he figures out what he wants. He says he's not even sure if he loves me anymore, and he thought getting pregnant would change that. I'm an absolute mess. I can't think straight, my hormones are all over the place, I'm sleep deprived, and now I have to do it all alone. I don't intend to get out of bed today.

All I'm trying to focus on now is getting better for my little bean. I hope he comes to the 12 week scan with me. Maybe that will change his mind?
My mum and her partner said the same; he's just being selfish. I want to tell myself I'm better off without him but I can't make myself believe. I'm sure glad I can come and vent on here!!

Guys I don't know what to make of this. Too me it looks like a faint line but at the same time it looks like the test got scratched or something. I don't know how it could have gotten scratched in the spot where the second line should show up but idk. Please give me your honest opinions. I took a digital test with the same FMU and it said not pregnant and so I took another of these but I'm waiting for the results.

That looks like a faint positive to me!! Yay!!
The digi tests might not show up the HCG in your urine because they aren't anywhere near as sensitive. I've had 27 BFP's, and a doctor confirmation, and I still get a BFN on a digi
Upload the next test so I can help you scrutinize it!!

Awh maybe the first test was a faulty one? Did you use fresh urine for each or the same?

I used the same urine for all the tests so idk whats going on. Dollar tree doesnt open until 9am and its only 6:45 here. My hubby goes to work at 6 so Ive been up since 5. I usually go back to sleep but I dont think I can now. Geez I hope it wasn't faulty. This may sound like a weird question but can you keep urine in a cup for a few hrs and it still be ok to test with? Ive never gotten anything but white space where that second line is supposed to be so now I'm freaking out. I'm 2 days late right now.

I kept my urine in a cup for about 3 hours, and it didn't change the test results, although my cup came with a lid. (It's a specimin cup!)
I would cover the cup if you can, with some clingfilm - I don't know what you call it over there...errr...plastic wrap or Saran wrap? Something just to stop the air getting to it because some parts of urine will react with it (protein for example). Or, make sure you drink a pint or two, and hold it for at least 3 hours.
You might find you get a better result with later urine anyways. FMU never gave me a strong positive - still doesn't - but I get a brilliant positive in the evening!

I hate to say I'm out for this cycle. AF woke me up in the middle of the night by ruining my panties. Ugh. I hope I don't have another full week of af symptoms because I've already had one week... I would not like to begin a 2 week period habit. I've only been off the pill for 4 months now, so I guess things are still working themselves out.

Emma-I'm so, so sorry for what you're having to go through. There is no excuse for him in my mind. It's just as much his responsibility as yours, especially since he agreed to trying. I do hope he realizes what he's missing with you, but if not, maybe it's for the better. I know that it won't feel like that now, but as someone who has been through similar situations (minus baby), it does get better and there are better guys out there. I do hope he will come around and be a father to your son or daughter though. . I hope you are not staying home alone. Please go stay with your mum or a friend or have someone stay with you. Being alone makes things much harder and as much as we all care, we're still just words on a page and not a physical presence.

Stitch-I'm really, really sorry to hear that. Is this normal for you or a one time thing? Being that you're just off the pill, I wouldn't worry about it once but if its recurring, I'd see a doctor as it sounds like it could be a luteal phase defect/progesterone deficiency which is easy to correct but will require some form of medication. But good luck for next month! I'm sticking around too so maybe we can be bump buddies for our September babies!

Nicole-looks promising but keep testing. Leaving pee sitting out gradually will reduce the amount of hcg in it (some sciency reason) so maybe that's what happened. FX for you!

CD3 for me today. Hoping I ovulate before day 26 this month (or at all!)

aw I'm sorry AF came Stitchfan! I agree with Emma though and get a lot of BD'ing in They say practice makes perfect! Also, if your OH ends up to be like my OH he'll be scared of BD'ing once you are preggo! It took my body a while to normalize after the pill too, but at least you know you are healthy and can get your period. I was without an AF for 2 years whilst struggling with eating disorders in university, dr.'s told me that I may never be able to get pregnant and had to get on the pill to get my period. It took my body some time but eventually I got my period on my own, which my DR said is the best sign you are fertile. I've got my FX for you hun for your next cycle!

I hoping for my BFP. I'm due to test on Tuesday if I can hold out that long. This is my second month on clomid so I don't know if my symptoms are from that, af or pregnancy:
Occasional cramping
Food aversions
Headaches
Bloating
Constipation
Very very sore bbs that are so full and tight (the biggest they have ever been)
Plus my nips are always hard which has never ever happened. Every time they even rub on my shirt they pop up.
Low back pain
Fatigue


I just don't know what to think. It drives me crazy.

Sounds good for you KLC!!! When are you planning on testing? I had very similar symptoms myself, if you have any tests laying around I'd go for it! FX for you hun!

Nicole- sounds positive for you too!!! I think it looks like a faint line to me, more so a line than my first test had for me! Plus I don't think the tests can really get scratched enough to show you a second line, and it's really unheard of to get false positives! How are you feeling today?? Do you think you'll go for a blood test if AF doesn't come this week? Sending some to you!!

Oh Emma, my heart does go out to you. Sometimes I do think Men are more fickle than women. Have you ever seen the movie Juno? Jennifer Garder says: "Women are ready to be a mom from the minute they are pregnant, but men aren't ready until they see their baby". It's just hard for them to understand whats going on in our bodies when they aren't experiencing it. You don't have to go through this alone either, we are all here for you To share another story, my mum was a single mum because she knew she was better off raising me without my father in the picture- I have a good friend who just made this decision too and she and her son are definitely better off this way. I do hope he comes around, and maybe he just needs some time to let the news sink in. You guys decided to TTC together and you ended up with a miracle baby!! Whenever my OH and I have a big fight, I'll write him a letter because it calms me down and lets me get all my feelings out in a calm manner. Maybe you can try sending your OH one at his parents? And remember it's most important for you to stay healthy and as stress-free as possible for your little miracle bean, so pamper yourself a little because you deserve it!

Thanks everyone for your well wishes. I really don't know whats going on, but I am having an af from hell now. I was on ortho lo for 10 years, and started having mid cycle spotting, so I was switched to Generess Fe for the last year and stopped having periods altogether. Well, this really freaked me out, so my OH said he thought I should stop taking them at all. So, we agreed that we'd let destiny take over. So I have had a lot of experience with mid cycle bleeding, but I was just really hoping I had gotten lucky. Well, off to take some Midol and head to Disneyland to make me feel better! Lots and lots of sugar and chocolate to heal my wounds! Month 4, here we come!

Thanks! Honestly I don't know what to think about it. I just keep hoping its right but I took 3 other tests today and they were all negative so I'm hoping I get a better positive in the morning. My hubby looked at it when he got home from work and he said "Well there's definitely something there." I tried to tell him on the phone earlier that I thought there was a second line and he just laughed and told me I was crazy haha. Then got home and realized I wasn't crazy. AF still hasn't shown her ugly self and I'm hoping she doesn't! AF was supposed to be here yesterday or Friday. I have been really tired all week and having some cramps. I have had lots of headaches and had one today that was so bad I finally just laid down and fell asleep. It was gone when I woke back up. Been having very vivid dreams. My BBs are feeling a little heavy but it's hard to tell because I have large BBs anyways. Oh and yellowish cm and hot flashes. Hoping this is my time thanks everyone for letting me use you're eyes haha.

I hope I am. I haven't been able to think about anything else today especially after hubby came home and said he saw something too. I'm trying not to get too excited but its so hard. I'm kinda scared for the next few days because I am scared to death of getting more negatives or AF. Guess we shall see.
