Calling all symptom spotters!

Hey Ladies!
Mamawanabe1: I'm sorry to hear about your OH's behaviour. I can't say that I understand what you're going through but you'll always have us ladies. Your baby is a miracle and I am so happy to read that you finally got your BFP. Like others have said, your OH might just be in shock at the moment, he might come around in the months to come :) Just concentrate on yourself and your baby, try and take your mind off things. Lots of hugs your way!

Update on TWW: Well ladies, I'm officially out today. TMI WARNING-but just nipped to the toilet and have thick dark pink discharge. Ah well, there's always next cycle!

Do you ladies mind if I hang about here even though I'm not in my TWW anymore? Can't wait to read more BFP stories!

Ok so I've got a couple of new symptoms today, my back has been aching all day and I can not stop pee'ing!!

ok so i've been stalking this thread for a few days...emma, i am so sorry to hear about your situation..i know you'll be a great mom (mum rather), just look at the attention you give us on here! trying to figure out what is going on with my body...came off bcp 9/11, period 10/10 and 11/7, due 12/5--but nothing...severe back pain started 12/4 evening, has since almost gone away, have some pelvic pain, like twinges, occassional breast twinges, bouts of nausea that last a few seconds...only bfn's

Sounds good! How many dpo are you?

I am 14 dpo and AF is one day late, I tested yesterday and got a (faint) second line. My digital test is all cued up for my first pee tomorrow

I also almost burst into (happy) tears looking at the baby stuff in my local supermarket today!!

Ladybuggz, of course you can stay :) We're all friends here, as well as SSers, and secretly, I still SS even though I've got my :bfp: ;) At what point does denial become worrisome? Sorry you're out though, but let's get ready to go crazy for the next tww

Welcome Michaelap! :dust: Thank you, you're so sweet :) Sometimes, people's hcg rises really slow and some women don't even get a positive until 18dpo. You're not out until AF shows hun, FX for you.

Loubyroo Congrats hun, that sounds pretty promising! If I were you, I'd save the digi test for later on, and use some cheaper ones, as the digi aren't as sensitive and often give false negs. And if you're only getting a faint line, I'm guessing the chances of you getting a false neg is pretty high.
So excited for you!! Any chance of a pic for me to obsess over? haha! :hugs::happydance:

Mrs F have you tested again? FX for you too.

Also ladies, I have a totally stopped up nose due to this cold, and can't sleep! I've used the Vicks Sinex spray, which is the only thing that works. Does anyone know is this is okay to use? Can't find anything on Google :) Thank you xx

Sounds good for you Loubyroo!!!! I was the same as you and had that super faint line, but I also tested with a digital right away and it came up positive! I'd say go for it if you have plenty in stock, but like Emma said it could come up as a false negative and you are really pregnant. FX and keep us posted on here!!! :dust::dust:

Emma- I'd say try and get yourself an air humidifier and stand over a boiling pot of water to clear your nose! Also, if you can't find a humidifier boiling a pot of water will help the humidity in your place and help you breathe easy! That's what I did during the tww when I was sick, along with lots of tea honey, not sure about mucinex but I took it!

Update for you ladies: had my drs appointment today and I'm only 4 weeks 2 days, so very early. My midwife said that the real deal implantation doesn't happen until about 7 weeks, which is when typical spotting will happen. I guess it's the placenta forming at that time! Crazy all the things our bodies naturally do for us!

FX for you ladies that are waiting to test again!!! :dust::dust:

Sorry I haven't posted any updates... I have been so busy today.

Unfortunately AF showed her ugly self today. I'm guessing that test was either faulty yesterday or it really was just a scratch that we were seeing. I swear that "scratch" looked pink though lol. I took a test this morning before AF arrived and it was a negative obviously so I wasn't that surprised when AF finally showed. I have been surprised at the heaviness of it. Possible TMI (sorry). Normally I spot the night before or the morning before AF starts and then it usually turns to a light flow during that day. The second and third day go straight to heavy. I haven't had any spotting at all the past couple days. Today when it started it was a medium flow...no spotting no light flow straight to medium. IDK just thought that was strange.

Emma-I got this info from this site https://www.vicks.com/products/sinex/nasal-decongestant/ If pregnant or breast-feeding, ask a health professional before use. It doesn't say that its not recommended for pregnant women just to ask your dr. I think medicine usually flat out says Do Not use if Pregnant if it is bad for you, but I could be wrong. I think all medicine says to consult a dr if you are pregnant just for legal reasons and to save themselves just in case. Thats just my perspective. If it was me I would take it tonight and then ask your dr tomorrow. I wouldn't think one night would make that big of difference.

Awh I'm sorry to hear AF is here :(
On to the next cycle!! :D

And thank you! I've been using it tonight, and have a drs appointment today, so will ask then!

Random question guys... How many day cycles are each of you having? I think mine's at 35, and I'm not sure if that's normal. And AF is only 2 or maybe 3 days long... I just feel like its really off. Plus this weekend I'm turning 31 so I think I'm having a bit of a little age crisis because I want to 2 little ones before I'm 35. Anyone else have a very short af?

Mine is also about 35 days though last month it was 39. And AF usually lasts 4-5 days for me. My doctor told me that so long as your cycles are fairly consistent, you 're probably okay, even if what's normal for you isn't what's normal for most.

some vag bleeding with a bm..? and some serious left sided pain..still no bfp or real period

Still no AF and a week late! This is getting frustrating!

So sorry about all the AF showings! FX'd you all conceive this coming month!

I was watching some show awhile ago (Dr. Oz or something like that, don't remember) but they were talking about women's issues (cycles, TTC etc.) and they said that there is such a HUGE misconception that a woman should be on a 28 day cycle. Anywhere from 22-38 days is considered "normal." Like someone else said, as long as they are pretty consistent..not going from a 23 DC to a 35 DC, you should be fine. When I got off BC, my first cycle was 35 and the second was 33 (before BC and on BC they were always 28-29)

It sucks having such a long cycle!

Are anyone else's nipples ALWAYS HARD? Even when I am not cold, they are hard! I have average size breasts and can (sometimes) get away with not wearing a bra. (Sometimes I would run up to the store (wearing a baggy sweatshirt) and totally forget to put a bra on and I was fine. The past few days there is NO way I could get away with not wearing one! I am 9 DPO right now.

out for this month...period is on with full cramps..not mild to moderate like my normal, but bright red..oh well..good luck all :)

Hello ladies! Am new here and nice reading all the thoughts and sharing of symptoms, also, the support among all of you all over the places. This is our 2nd month trying, am now 4dpo but no sign of anything, probably too early to tell? Arghhh...counting the days is such a tough thing to do!
