Izzy has been having some purees and porridge for a little while. She is coming up to 6 months and i was just wondering if she can have tinned tuna? Say just for a couple of meals a week? i eat alot of it, and would like to make it for her too?
Thank u ladies

At 6 months yeah. I've given it to Ruby a few times without a problem.

would limit the amount as tuna is near the top of the aquatic food chain therefore has a high mercury/heavy metals concentration (along with marlin/sword fish) which isn't good for baby. Think recommended amount is one portion a week. Try tinned salmon or mackerel or sardines instead?

girls should only have oily fish 2x a week but yes tuna is fine as long as its not in brine
