Can anyone help me??? My periods

I am just wondering if anyone can help me??

I came off Birth Control in feb 09 and my AF never returned in aug 09 the discovered that I had a cyst that was very large and removed so i now only have 1 Ovary and a stump as my consultant advised me. He also said it wouldn't make a difference to us ttc .

I had a bleed on the 28th nov and my consultant prescribed me hormone tablets to induce a bleed if AF did come on it's own , and guess what IT DIDN"T COME!!!!


Has anyone got any experience like mine With AF and any suggestions

I tried Ovulation test kits and they said on my period that came in nov that i didn't ovulate.

I'm at my wits end !!!!

Oh dear, it's hard to say really. I didn't have period for 6 months or so but seem to be back in the game so to speak now. Are there any other contributing factors?

None at all the doctor says they saved part of my ovary and it can still function .

All blood test came back fine, When i bleed after i finished the tablets i have to have more test on the cd2 and cd 21 but he thinks i'm trying to hard !!!

Well as far a i knew you needed to have sex to get pregnant!!! don't you?????

lol that you do, try not to panic too much about it. Theres not really any more you can do then try and have sex regularly say every other day, and hope for the best.

My periods are irregular also; I had/have an eating disorder for years. So I guess it's different but good luck sweetie.

The one thing I love about this forum is when you feel low you always have the support of each other. I'm not very patient but i thinks 11 months is pushing it for me but i'll just carry on trying it will just make it more special when it does.
