how do i go about getting a check up from my doctor? to see if everythings ok down there? i dont no if im paro or if my mind is trying to tell me something? :dohh:

manythanks

How long have you been trying for hun? It is very normal to have these wonders.

Hey hun

It's totally normal to be fearful and worry - especially if you don't know why it isn't happening for you.

How long have you been trying? If it's been 12 months most GPs will see you to run tests on you and your OH - that might help to alleviate any fear?x

It is usual to get these thought, If you are really worried just book and appointment with your GP and they will be able to carry out some blood tests to see if there are any problem, hopefully there won't be but if there is it will get the ball rolling!1

Good Luck x

I totally feel like this huni, and reading horror stories and the internet doesnt help!!

I hear stories and think oh god wonder if i have that or this medical problem!!
I have been ttc for about 13months now on 10th cycle..

If you have been trying for 12months or longer than your doc will carry out the normal tests first.. please try not to worry, believe u me your not the only one feeling like that, i try and give myself some positive words or thoughts that normally helps..
xxxx

I know how you feel. I had this feeling even b4 we stated TTC. If you've been trying more than 12 months (or six if you are over 35 - although you don't look like you are) see your gp - they'll do a blood test (to check your hormone levels) and will reffer you to a fertility specialist. Waiting time for FS appointment in London is about 2months. oh and don't loose hope... Try to be positive.. I know how difficult this is but just keep yourself busy and remember to Have FUN ! Xxxx

woaw thanks you guys for all support and Responses. :)

i have been trying for bout 10 months but really properly trying with folic acid eating heathly and light exercising for the last 2months. i dont no what it is but its like a thought in my head telling my something but thats the scary part..i have no facts to cover this is just a Paranoid worrie feeling.

if i see my doctor and weve only been trying for like 2 months you think he will do some test? i had my blood taken bout 2months ago just a general check up and it was ok..but do they take other test from you blood to see if you can get pregnant? sorry if im moaning and going on just my head plays tricks and makes me think things that probley are just normal thoughts

Hi sweetie...you must try for an year in order to be referred to a FS as most couples concieve within that time frame (90% they say). We started TTC in Jan 2008( or was it Dec 07) but we took it easy and i only had the blood test done in october. Got a referral in Jan 09 for an appointment in March ... My view is that your 10 months count (with or without folic acid ;-)) and, unless you fall pregnant in the next 2 months, you can ask for a referral in November .... Good luck hun and ket us know how you go. X

Thanks for your words brumbar..mean alot to me as this is all hard and as you can imagen emotional...so most support is granted :) i thought as must ill have to wait the 12 months before id get referred. just one of them things i supose

im goner go doctors in jan if still no joy....i no for most people it is a frustrated waiting time when you trying so much to make it happen :winkwink:
its just the thoughts and feeling that come with it that makes it worse.

how did you get on with ur results what was the outcome?

Hey, I´m so glad that there´s such a forum like this for women like us.

I have been trying for 1 mth actually. Well its been 3 months, but since I´ve only had my AF once, I consider it 1 mth. I figure that I might have stopped ovulating which is why my AF refuses to come. RIght now, I´m just looking forward to my appt at the gynae on the 12/10 where I will finally get a blood test (hopefully) to find out why the AF has completely stopped once I started TTC.
