can anyone tell me what ovulation pains feel like.

hi im on day 9 finished my course for clomid on day 6 and yesterday afternoon i was getting crampy pains are they normal??

i use opks on and off as never know when I will ovulate in my cycle. The last two times I got positives I took the opk because I had had specific ovarian pain - definitley. One in the left ovary and one in the right. Feels like a pinching cramping in one small area.

Ovulation Predictor kits, you can find them at any normal pahrmacy, and if you are from Over the waters i would say try Tesco....

You can O anything from 4-10 days after your last tablet of Clomid, so i would say start getting Bding hun...

Hi thank you for your reply.

Would i need to use opk's? as im being monitored by fertility clinic and due to go for a internal scan on friday then when my eggs are at a healthy size i will have a injection to release my eggs then thats when he fun takes place with fingers crossed for a bfp in a few weeks

I wouldnt worry about OPK's if you are being monitored. They will probably let you know when to get busy. My OV pains feel like a sharp stabbing everyonce in a while not every cycle and not a constant pain just here and there.

Angie33, i would suggest you have a read thru all our posts, specifically the CLOMID CLUB thread.

It is also not very accurate to use OPK's when on clomid, as i never got a positive OPK.. and for me personally i got obsessed with OPK's as specially if they never got a positive..

Follow the advice of your gyni, and after the scan you should be told, ETA of O is in 2days, but if you are having the trigger shot than you should O anything from 24-48 hours after the jab..
