Or is this just an old wives tale?

I've heart that anything below 140 is a boy & above that is a girl.

Interesting to hear your experiences 💙💖

It did in my case. My daughter was always above 155 and my boy was 130. x

My boy was always around 140 my girl was always around 160 this time is always 150 haha so curious to find out what it is

My baby's started in the 170s at the beginning and now sits in the 140s so it was right for me. It's supposed to just be an old wives tale but it's fun to test out :)

I used to think it was true lol DD was always in 170s so it was right for her. This time it was 170s until about 14 weeks then dropped down to high 150s. That would still point to girl but ultrasound confirmed there's a boy in there lol

My son was always higher and in the 160's. I wouldn't count on it for sure. LoL. Right now my baby is at 176ish.. however, I won't be counting on any certain gender until I can actually see it on the scan. LoL.

My son was always around the 160 mark, so not true for him

Our son's started around 170 and I don't think ever went lower than 145. So it didn't work for him. This baby so far is around the same and will find out the gender in a month.

Our baby's heartbeat was around 170 early on, and now fluctuates around 140-150. The baby is a boy. I was convinced early on I was having a girl because of the high hb! The old wive's tale isn't dependable.

I heard 140's is boy 160+ is girl and anything inbetween could be either. It was right for my first two. This one is in the 150's usually so who knows!

my DS was always in the 150/160s so not true for him. This baby has been 150-160 but we are waiting on gender so not sure how it stacks up against the old wives tale

My first was in the 140-160 range. My second was in the 130-150 range. When I did baby bpm it was always inconsistent. So I would say it's just an old wives tale.

Definitely not true. I have 10 living children and 11 is on the way. Not true at all for me

The wives take was backwards for me. My girls were always in the 140s and this one (which we just found out is a boy) is always in the 160s

Not sure what my DD heart rate was but this baby is 159bpm and is a boy.
