Can I be/get pregnant?

I had sex the day after I got my period. Meaning, I was on my period. My husband ejaculated inside of me. Is there a possibility that I can get or be pregnant? How long will it take to find out? Also, my period last about 7-8 days and it lasted about 4 days. Is that bad?

You can get pregnant technically any time of the month I just had a nurse tell me that I could have gotten pregnant if I am pregnant right before my last period and cuz it was so close it still came on good luck
