Wow, back on these boards again :)

So i'm currently about 4w 3d with my second. Not quite 35 but will be before this LO is born.

This pregnancy feels totally different to my first LO who has just turned 3 :) im not ravenously hungry and no bloating what so ever. Boobs are a little tingly but that's it. If it wasn't for the lack of AF i wouldn't have believed it!

I had an early BFP last month but it failed to implant so still a little cautious - Im trying not to get too excited yet!

So Im hoping ill be accepted over here and looking forward in following all your journeys :)

xx

Hi congrats!

I was wondering the same thing I am 35 in June due in October with number 2. I had such bad morning sickness with my 1st (1 on Sunday) but only have the odd bout of nausea this time I keep forgetting I'm pregnant! Although the dizzy spells I've been getting over the last week are a good reminder.

Wishing you all the best for your pregnancy :)

Welcome ladies! Thirty-four, thirty-five…whatever. Technicalities! I certainly won't shun you for being a few months shy! Congratulations on your pregnancies. This board is nice for us more mature gals… I don't know about you but when I see the ages of some of the women on other forums who have barely cracked 20 I feel a little, how do you say, OLD!

I'm 37 BTW--aged compared to you--and almost 20 weeks pregnant with #2. This pregnancy has been physically tougher than my first, though I don't think it's because I am two years older. I've had mild nausea since about eight weeks, horrid constipation (sorry, TMI), the stomach flu twice in ten weeks, and a very busy toddler I look after full time. Oh well, could be worse, but there certainly won't be a #3! H&H pregnancies to you all as well.

Evening :flower:

Lovely to meet you all, I agree about feeling old compared to some other girls on here and it's nice to have an area just for us :winkwink:

Still very minimal symptoms and I'm more concerned that this pregnancy will last, particularly of my age, but I guess worrying is what being in first tri is all about lol.

H&H 9 months to you all :flower:

I had the stomach flu 3 times with my first it's the worst!! Your almost half way there, I feel like this pregnancy is going so slow. I have a dating scan next week can't wait to see my little jelly bean and find out exactly how far along I am.

My immune system must be really fragile this time round! In addition to the two bouts of stomach flu in ten weeks, I've now caught a cold! Oh well, I can blame my toddler for that one!

Yes, halfway there--that's what I tell myself on bad days but then I think to myself, "Whew, I'm tired and can barely cope NOW--how will it be come July when I'm sweltering and dealing with a huge belly and an even heavier toddler?" I guess I'll find out! Pregnancy can drag at times--especially when you're feeling less than stellar--but it does pass very fast overall, so try to enjoy it while you can. It's quite common to mourn your pregnancy once baby arrives. Hard to believe but true! I did not enjoy my pregnancy last time and I had this. Probably thanks to my post-birth plummeting hormones...

Enjoy your scan. It's so amazing to see them for the first time! Before you know it you'll be back having your mid-pregnancy one and you'll be blown away by your perfectly formed (but tiny) little bean! Good luck to you and everyone else!
