LO has his first set of injections next Friday. I read that the sucking action can reduce the pain so would like to offer a bottle straight after, whethe he is due one or not. The appointment is 1.30 so we will need to leave at 1.10. Can I warm a bottle before we go and keep it at the right temp until after the appointment? I have only used the bottle bags for keeping a ready made bottle cold when transporting to my mums. Will it be ok? I will prob use ready made carton so less issues about it being sterile etc.

If it's a carton, once you've heated it, you can use it for up to two hours so that should be fine!
If it was pre-made bottles that you'd cooled then re-heated, then you only have an hour to use it safely, but again, should be fine with your times.

Thanks, I think I'll use a carton as it is a bit easier. Hopefully they will be running on time for the appointment!!
