Can I get a woo-hoo?!

After a little courage from some rose wine I sat down with DH this evening and asked him if we could finally set a date. I told him how much I want a baby and whilst he understands he isn't ready and doesn't think we have enough money at the moment.

I've suggested he asks for a pay rise in the new year (something we've already discussed) but we start TTC in June and he said yes! I obviously said that we can revisit the idea in May and see where we stand because he needs to be 100% comfortable with being a daddy and we need the money to afford him. I'd love to get pregnant around August next year as we will have been married for a year and together for ten. Plus a May baby sounds nice!

I would love if it could be sooner but I know he's not willing to budge at the moment. Trying not to get too excited but I'm absolutely thrilled!
