Hi!
I am 8 weeks pregnant and for the last few weeks all I have wanted to do it lie down or sleep! When I'm not at work I am literally either laying on the sofa or in bed! It's really getting me down as I hate lying around usually and like to make the most of my days off but just lately days are passing me by and I have done nothing! I also feel constantly nauseas and have been vomiting but not every day! Boobs are sore and I have had some stomach pains here and there but nothing too bad so I guess thats just my body adapting for the baby! This is my first pregnancy so I am just looking for some reassurance that this is all normal! And some hope that this lazy streak will pass! I never imagined I would feel this bad! Thanks girls!

Hey hon, I was like this and still am and I've just turned 12w. I was tired though as I was up all night throwing up and whenever I moved I was sick. Took 2 days off work by actually felt worse so went back! Mine is starting to ease off and I have more energy now, sickness is only first and last thing! Don't let it get you down as I bottled mine up and got really depressed as everyone else I spoke to said how amazing pregnancy was I thought there must of been something wrong with me, eventually I opened up to my mum and she old me everyone is different and u don't have to suffer in silence! Anyway once you have your 12 w scan and see lo moving around it makes it all worth it trust me :)

I am very lazy too!! We just moved and I don't start back at work until Monday and all week I have pretty much just been a sloth! I get up, eat a little bit, then go back to bed!!

It's currently half 6 in the evening and I am in my pjs, on my sofa, with ni intent to move until bed time.

I also feel bad as oh is walking dogs, making dinner and working, and I'm not even back to school yet. Dreading how awful I will feel when I am...

I've been reading "What to expect when you're expecting" and in there it says this is completely normal for first tri. Your body is doing all sorts of stuff right now. You aren't lazy, your body is drained. :hugs:

My sister told me yesterday when she was feeling exhausted she'd make things up like "Aww, I must be growing the baby's earlobes today - I'm exhausted!" :flower: I thought it would be cute to make up your own reasons for tiredness.

@ OP i could have written this post myself, today for example i slept till 11am and was still tierd and wanting to sleep again by 2pm this afternoon i cant beieive how tierd i am and i need naps just to get through the day.

Same here!! i woke up around 9 in the morn (late for me) and went to sleep at noon until 5 in the evening. Im tired now and its only 11 at night here.

Ill eat again and call it a night..

Team Lazy!!

I'm exactly the same - have been married for 3 months tomorrow and think DH is wondering what he married lol (we never lived together before we got married and we are having a honeymoon baby). Poor man is having to clean and cook for himself as I can't even watch food being cooked - eeeeugh :nope:

I hardly get off the couch , if i do its to pee , get food , put DD to bed , or let dogs out , i feel like a LAZY PIG !!! Getting kind of peed off with myself now !!!!!

As we speak now i feel the tremedous urge for a nap, and its only 3pm, i woke up @ 11 am went to work for a few hours now im home and cant keep my eyes open.

Thanks everyone  All these posts reassured me that it is all normal!
@firstymemommy 'team lazy' I like that! haha! and @maggie111 I like your sisters outlook! But with how tired I'm feeling I fear that my baby will end up with about 5 earlobes and 6 legs!
Roll on 12 weeks when we will have enough energy to run a marathon.....(I hope)!!
Good luck girls we can do it!!!! :baby:
