Can I use a male name as my girls name?

I like it! And yeah, I agree it definitely has a feminine feel to it.

where as all names to an extent are unisex and at some point cross boundaries I dont think calling a girl Ryan is common or has ever been a thing... its very much a well recognized male name

Here in the US, Ryan is becoming very popular for girls. It seems like it initially started as a middle name, but now there are lots of Ryans popping up.

I'm personally a fan of more unisex names so I think Ezra for a girl would be lovely!

Ryan for a girl is also becoming not common but not unheard of in Canada as well :)

Yep, I know several people who have named their daughters Ryan.

wow, well that's strange lol, never heard of a girl called Ryan before seems ALL boys names are unisex now  but then as I said I have a very recognized masculine name picked for a girl too lol

I think it's okay to use it as a girls name but I also think it sounds abit too much with your daughters name already sorry! Lyra and amara go better IMO x

I personally wouldn't... it makes me think of Ezra from the show Pretty Little Liars.

I would, I think it sounds really pretty and feminine!

I don't particularly care if it's technically a male name, I called DD Parker because I love it and I think it's a pretty name. It suits her :)

I used to teach an Ezara who was a girl - that maybe pretties it up or feminises it a little?

I have nieces named: Logan, Avery, Aidan and Austin...and my favorite name for a. Girl is Ryan.
