Can pregos take Claritin?

My doc said claritin is safe. I've been taking it almost everyday as I suffer from terrible allergies.

I wouldn't myself but I hate taking those allergy tablets anyway as they are so dehydrating & make me feel like crap. You're 36 weeks pregnant, could you get around with some Vaseline around your nostrils for the last couple of weeks? Perhaps ring your doctor re clarintine if you haven't already.

My regular OB said the D was fine, but the MFM wanted me to really watch my BP if I did take it as the D can raise your BP and mine was already creeping up, so maybe that's why you were told no D.

I've been told by multiple doctors that Claritin is safe during pregnancy. I have taken it during several of my pregnancies due to the fact that I have allergy symptoms during my entire pregnancies, even if it's not allergy season.
