Can someone explain this potty pics pleassseeee!!!

HI so I had the gender confirmed at 17w and 21w and given this pic as well as others but this is the clearest... the doctor didn't explain much just said here's the potty pic nothing pointed out or explained... I see the three lines but I'm reading that can be boy too? Can anyone see a labia?? This is all new to me as I'm a three time boy mamma!! Appreciate any comments thanks x x

That's a girl. At that gestation it would be really obvious from that angle if there was a penis.

Don't worry. I understand your nervousness but as pp said, penis would be really obvious even by 16/17 weeks with a shot like that, never mind 21.

Thanks ladies... these were from 16w6d. At the 21 week scan they said they don't usu ally take potty shot pics so I didn't get one... xx

Still looks really girly, by pretty much 17 weeks you'd expect to see clear boy parts. That's how come they can offer gender scans from 16 weeks! If you've been told twice that it's a girl then try not to be nervous about it.
I know you hear of people told the wrong thing but it's never happened to anyone I know - all the pregnant friends and relatives I've ever had who were told girl all went on to have girls!

This picture really confused me and I would love thoughts on it,, sonographer said it's swollen girl bits and the legs are marked in red and bent up ... Talia thanks for your comments ☺

I think I'd trust the sonographer on that. Excuse me for being crass but I think my bits would stick out like that if I drew my legs right up like that haha.
It still doesn't look like a penis.
Could you get one more private gender scan to put your mind at rest?

I agree it still looks like a girl.

That's definitely a girl. Trust me, I've had two boys and there'll be penis in your face by then if it's a boy.

So if these were your scan pictures would you feel very confident in it being a girl? I know nothing is ever 100%

I would feel confident, but more because you've been told by two different professionals. We can try analysing these shots but at the end of the day we're not trained to do it and they are. As I said, I don't know of anyone who was told the wrong sex at 20 weeks! If I were you I think I'd get one more private gender scan. If there's babybond place near you then the justgender scan is only £39.
