hi girls i went to the loo earlier and in my pants was like a glob of green/cream sticky goo!
i was wondering if this could be my "plug" or is it just discharge?
i have google imaged it but it does look clear but on some threds on here it does say it can be green any advice would be good.
Oh and my and OH DTD last night do you think that might have something to do with it maybe?
thank u girls xxxx

Don't think I have heard of it being green... actually.. any discharge shouldnt be green. I'd call your MW or doc right away and see what they think. xx

had that, i thought it was the plug 2, but it was thrush :( got it treated immediately with only one internal pill

i only had the one lot though the rest has been normal in colour xx

I had the same this morning when I wiped day before had load of clear snotty stuff and some browny snot like stuff. I called docs and he said it was normal for the mucous plug to be clear yellow/green pink or brown. I would call though to check as different docs always say something different

I was told it can be greeny in colour at antenatal. i've had a little glob of greeny/yellow. if u are worried its infection/thrush get a swab but i think it is most likely your plug. x

I've heard quite a few women on here over the years say their plug was slightly green so it could well be! If i were you i'd call mw when you get chance just to see what she thinks xx

my doctor told me to watch for mine nad its should be like mucus with pink and alittle bloody

I hope this response from a MW will put your mind at rest - I found it on a pregnancy advice website:

"A person can actually lose their mucus plug very early. This "plug" is for protection of your baby. It lies between the amniotic sac and cervix. It does regenerate so it's not uncommon to lose it early and then it "regrow" and you could lose it again before labor. Not to sound gross, but if you lose it all at once it will resemble a big ball of snot. It can look like many different colors (green, yellow/green or even pink). this is all normal. If you have bleeding like the heaviest day of your period, you need to get to your doctor quickly. Some people lose their "plug" in intervals as someone mentioned in a previous reply. That is also normal. It will typically be a bit thicker than usual discharge and should not really have to much of an offensive odor. Good luck."

It can be slightly green hun, But if dark green or oily please seek advice as "Could" be baby in distress i am sure its not but worth getting checked out xxxxx
