Can you use the iCandy Peach from birth

Thanks for all the advice. I got a Quinny Buzz in the end as a friend was lending us the carrycot. The pushchair was only £275, so not bad really.

But I still love the iCandy peach...

I hope so! I just ordered the iCandy Peach from a discount place in Manchester but got all the bits - carrycot, pushchair bit and rain cover, car seat adaptors, car seat and car seat base for just under 760 - not as good a bargain as the lady from Scotland but not bad!

And the shop mentioned that they've had loads of people asking them for a quote and then going to John Lewis who match it and so they've stopped doing that as it could land them in trouble with iCandy (and they lose the business I suppose!).

Dizzymaid what shop in Edinburgh did you go too?, sound much better than john lewis.

Wow, where have you managed to get the icandy peach for only £550 from?
I really want one but can't justify the price in John Lewis. Cheapest I can find one is £735.

You either need the carrycot which is about £160 or a maxi cosi car seat (I have the cabriofix) and the adaptors to make it suitable from birth, (car seat about £100 and adaptors about £30).

You can use it from birth with an insert. Silvercross surf has an insert that has a wedge shape on the back so baby is flat in the pushchaie. But you would need to find a specialist baby shop who could order it for you. Alot cheaper than buying the carrycot unit. I got this instead beacuse carry cot was not practical for us.

I bought the Icandy Apple yesterday & got the carrycot so it can lie flat for the first few months. I also have got the Maxi cosi carseat to slot on it but when out for a good few hours would use the carrycot as i dont think it is good to have the baby in the carseat for that amount of time

Definitely try & get it discounted!! the peach head office quote £700 for pram inc carry cot..

i got this much alone for £550!! then added on cosytoes & parasol, maxicosi clamps for another £100...most small retailers/baby shops will give you ten percent off if you're willing to order that day/bulk buy/pay upfront etc etc... i wouldnt go to john lewis as its a new thing there putting the smaller baby shops out of business IMO!
