I was just wondering what bottles you all use? I just have a bunch of cheepie bottles (Gerber brand) that were like 5$ for a pack of 3. I wasn't planning on having to buy bottles as I was assuming I was going to breastfeed (picked up a few of the cheep bottles just incase I needed them for expressing or something) but since that didn't work out I have been using these bottles. They seem to work ok (although they cause LeeAnne to be a bit gassy as I think the milk comes out to fast maybe!)
Does anyone recomend any good brands?! I have NO idea what to look for when buying bottles!

I use the playtex ventair bottles. They seem to work good, but after awhile the bottom latex piece gets warped and they will leak.. But you can buy replacement pieces anyways.

same, I had to replace my bottles at around 4.5 months. :)

The ventaires are what I'm gonna use if I can't BF..
I looked into a whole bunch of them and they sounded really good!

We bought the playtex VentAire Advanced ones and she seems to like them! The only thing is we bought the wide nipples (we didn't read when we bought them!) and the milk just gushes out so we had to get 'small' ones

I have the playtex bottles with the bags in them , I found that with the bags he would never get gassy !

I use the AVENT bottles. I have a love-hate relationship with them.

I love how they're not overly tall. Makes heating up pre-made bottles that much easier IMO. However, if you don't assemble them JUST SO they'll leak. And by leak, I mean like all over the place. Like the entire bottle in under 5 mins. :hissy:

Once they're sterilized, you have to snap the nipple and the ring together ASAP, while they are both still wet. Then, if you line up the two 'vents' (they look like a quotation sign ") with the 'fins' of the rings then they won't leak at all. Rather time consuming, but I was using the Playtex bottles with the bags before and it just wasn't working for me.

I'm not sure if I'd buy Avent again if I ever had another baby.

Wow that sounds confusing LOL
We went and got the playtex ventaire advanced ones...not sure if you're supposed to use bags or not I don't think so...I haven't at least...I hope you're not supposed to use bags otherwise I'll feel like a true idiot!

I use Dr Browns, and I love them. The only problem is I need some new Size 2 nipples and they are always sold out at Babies R Us.

lol... no you dont use the bags with the ventair bottles... I found they had to be completely dry or they would leak. They do help alot though.

I love the different Ins and Outs of bottles. Yours have to be completely dry or they'll leak, yet mine have to be completely wet or they'll leak... LOL!
