Can't post a poll on my journal

I want to post a poll on my journal, but when I select the the "thread tools" and get the drop down menu, adding a poll is not an option. Is there a way around this?

Poll scan only be edited in up to a certain amount of time after the original post ... I must find out what that is again.

If you add a poll you can't remove it so maybe create a thread in the relevant parenting section and link to it from your journal, anyone following your journal will see the link x
