car seat base- r u or rnt u??

We bought three! One for each of our cars and an extra one to sell on. The Mamas & Papas ones we got are £140 new and even sell for up to about £80 on eBay second hand! We managed to get ours for about £120 total by watching eBay and waiting for ones listed badly or locally for collection only. Hopefully we can make a bit of money back on the extra one.

i have got the car base its so much easier, my hubby had to have his own car seat which is isofix and has a base too..
but its up to u

I wouldn't do without a base, I have the Silver Cross surf buggy and could have bought the matching car seat but It doesn't come with a base. I opted for the Maxi Cosi Cabrio and adaptors for the buggy. Without the base the car seat held in by a belt never seems very secure to me, so much better with a base.

We have bought a base for my car - but Im considering buying a second one so we can have a base in each of our cars. Definitely worth it!

we have one carseat and two bases for when she comes. not only for the convenience purpose i feel safer because i got the bases professionally installed so i know she is in safe every time i take her somewhere. if i would have to strap her in each time i'd be stressing about not properly doing it

get one!! I ummed and arred for ages and then in the end got one from ebay. It is a godsend - so much quicker to get baby in especially when they are having a tantrum and no leaning in trying to get the belt round
