Hey ladies!

Sorry this is off topic but as I know there are a few disabled ladies on here I thought I could ask!

I'm trying to tax our car online, The car is in DP's name, but its our car and I want to use my tax exempt certificate on it. I tryed to do this online but there is no where to say that you dont pay it either wants £66 or £120 of me. I then tryed changing the tax feild it was in (this is the first time ive used my exemption) And it said I can't do that online and to phone this number. Which i did and I got an automated voice version of the online form. No way to do it that way either. Is there any way I can do it with out leaving the house?:hissy::hissy::hissy::hissy:

Can I talk to a human on the phone any way?

Car tax runs out tomorow :(

Thanks!

Hey,

I've had a quick look at the site, and it says that you should have a DLA404 reference number, which they will use to check it is regsitered to the car you are trying to tax.
I am guessing that if you have this form and it isn't linked to your car yet, then you will have to go to the post office or dvla local office and do it in person.

How does your car tax run out tomorrow? It always runs to the end of each month, and it's only the 18th today, it should be valid until 28th Feb. That's why you can only tax it after the 15th day of the month, or else you'd get more than 2 week's free road tax!!

Try calling Customer enquiries - drivers 0870 240 0009. Online driver licensing customer enquiries 0870 850 2963 ...

Good luck!

oh I didnt know about the date! I shall have to ask DP again when it finishes :P. I hope it wasnt today LOL!

thanks for the info :)
