I finally got my smiley today and I can tell you the lines on the test stick mean nothing when you pop em out and scrutinize over whether the are the same darkness. The second line was no where near as dark! I guess they did darken slightly from the first one, although there was always a second line. Overall I am pleased with them - it really took the guess work out. Also I did use fmu as the directions say to.
