I am almost 24 (next month) and we are doing our first IUI cycle this cycle! I haven't technically gotten AF yet, but I will today. We are doing Femara, trigger shot, then IUI. I have only ever done Femara before, so I am super exited and ::gulp:: hopeful!

I was trying to find a buddy thread for something like this, but couldn't.

There are several of us in the April IUI thread that are all going through what you are.

I am 32 and ttc#1. Second cycle using IUI - clomid, trigger shot then the IUI. It's a relatively easy procedure so nothing to get up tight and stressed over :)

Blondie, Exciting stuff!! I am on CD2 of my 2nd IUI cycle. We use Femara (12.5mg) + IUI. We were to use the trigger but had a natural surge. So excited for you! Any questions I can help with let me know.

Hello guys! I am currently CD1 today....It's not my 1st IUI cycle but only my 2nd. We did February on just the drugs (clomid, Ovidrel...etc) then last month we did Clomid3-7, and Crinone. This cycle my RE whom I talked to today said we are going to try cycle days 2-6 and see how that goes. Anyways I'm sorry I am rambling....I joined this site to have people going through the same things I am and don't constantly say "just relax and it will happen". So How do all of you do....Im Julia age 28 been married 2 years been together 9 and live in Atlanta, GA.:blush::thumbup:

Hi Julia, I'm Carolyn and also on my second IUI, and joined the forum for the exact reason you did. I needed to talk to women who can relate to what I am going to and just be able to vent to women who share the same feelings. I got to the point where if I heard one more person tell me "if you relax and stop thinking about it, it will happen!" I thought I was going to loose it on them!!!

As much as it Is cliche I know that I have to relax and stop stressing over it. So if anyone has some tips please share!!

Hi ladies...I am 29 and ttc#1 for over a year (we've been married for four years, together 8). I am on CD 12 right now but usually don't ovulate until CD 17. Second cycle using IUI - clomid, trigger shot then the IUI. Very hopeful this cycle as I should be ovulating next week right around our wedding anniversary (thinking this will bring us some extra luck!).

Julia and Carolyn I am with you...I HATE when people tell me to relax and it will happen. I relaxed for the first 10 months of ttc and got a BFN every month. Finally I went to the doctor and found out that I won't be able to conceive without meds. I am hoping to get my BFP soon!

Good luck and baby dust to all you ladies...we should all be ovulating sometime soon!

For the "Relax and it will happen comment" my sick and twisted response in my head is "if you had cancer, would you just relax and hope it goes away? No, you would do something about it"

I'm around the same time as you ladies!! second time around with femara......

i get sick to my stomach when people tell me to relax... i have actually starting telling that, i hate when people say that.... i can only relax for so long i mean come on its been 2 years..... hello i'm relaxed and waiting but nothings happening lol :)

So I had my follicle scan today. They want the follie to be about 20-26 mm, 18 at the least. They grow about 2 mm a day. I had 2 follies about 6 mm on my right ovary, and I had 14 follies on my left ovary ranging from 3 mm to 15 mm. Mostly all small, but 2 are pretty big, prolly 12 mm and 15 mm. Out of the 14, those 2 should be the only ones big enough to release on Monday. So we are triggering on Monday, then doing the IUI on Tuesday. :)

And my lining was 7 mm.

Hi there, (and my ladies from my exercise thread :P)

I did IUI for the first time yesterday. TTC for 4 years (Unexplained infertility). I have had 6 cycles of clomid and got pg on the first cycle last April but it ended in a m/c at 11 weeks.

There are quite a number of us undergoing IUI this month that are all pretty close to each other.

Your follies and lining look good so all the best for your first cycle.
