CD 12 Buddies Wanted!

Ah it's so complicated and trying for 13 months is crazy! Sorry to hear about your PCOS but I've come across a lot of ladies on here who have PCOS and end up conceiving! Keep your hopes up because you're not alone.

And at least your hubby had some swimmers! I've talked to this one lady whose husband had no viable spermies and they had to use a donor for that part. Whenever you think your situation is bad (I know I get really depressed about mine) there are other people struggling more than you so I remind myself that people have it worse and that it can still happen!

Yes I've had lots of ups and downs so far but if there is one thing that I've learnt is to be patient and remember it could always be worse. Originally we were told that ICSI was our only option due to DH's swimmers but he's seen such an improvement that it just might happen yet. I'm doing 6 months on clomid by which point if I'm still not pregnant I'll be ready for IVF on the NHS, got my referral appt on 11th November.

In other news I got my positive OPK this morning :) how about you? X

I'm happy to hear that you have such a positive attitude! That's what I like to be around because it keeps me positive in my hard times. Fingers crossed that Clomid works for you!! I've heard great things about it! And I'm happy that your DH is willing to do IVF and he seems very supportive. My DH is GREAT about everything. It makes this process a lot easier if your partner is also as invested in it as you are!

YAY! for positive OPK's. What CD are you? I'm on CD 16 and still no positive OPK :( I think I ovulate late anyways, last time I did an OPK was months ago and I didn't ovulate or the OPK's said I didn't ovulate until the 19th CD!

Well I'm happy to hear that you're so positive and doing well!

I'm on CD 17. I have felt ovulation pains for the first time in my life and as uncomfortable as it is, I love it!! We can only BD every other day due to DH's swimmers and we BD'd last night & we will again tomorrow, I really wish I could do it tonight as well!

I'm trying not to get my hopes up but I can't help it. I'm slightly concerned that I'm going to be disappointed when I do test. I'm not going to test until 11th November as that's my IVF appt & will be CD 28 & 12 DPO. Good luck for your positive OPK xxx

Hi everyone

hope you catch that eggy MrsB :hugs:

I am sure you will see 2 lines soon ashknowsbest - CD19 is Wednesday so am keeping my fingers crossed for you xxx

I *think* I have ovulated now although fert friend seems to change ov day every time I go on there and now seems to think it will be tomorrow. We have BD'd every other day this month and we are both sick of it now so I am giving up now! I just hope we have done enough.

Spent the weekend with 2 6 month old babies visiting, expected it to be tough but it was totally lovely having them both here (even the 3am feeds where I got woke up) Makes me realise how much I want a baby. It will be so worth the wait when it comes...

Loads and loads of :dust: to you all. I hope we get to see lots of BFP's this month xxx
