CD1, Feb IUI ... anyone else?

This month I am headed back to my fertility clinic to begin the IUI journey with injectibles.

Will also be doing an HSG to make sure tubes are open. Another month of ups and downs --- with A LOT of waiting.

PMA!! Nothing but GOOD THOUGHTS this month!!!!

I'm going in for my 2nd IUI today (I'm ovulating a day early)!!! Already had the dye test and blood work and scans done last cycle... so only had to have the scans done this cycle to make sure I didn't develop any cysts while on Clomid. All clear! So I go in today for u/s to check how my follicles are doing, then the IUI!

It's certainly a lot more poking and prodding that originally planned lol. But well worth it in the end I'm sure!!!!

I'm going in today to see how my ovaries look. I'm only CD3 but before they start with the follistim they want to make sure my ovaries aren't over stimulated from last month. Ugh. I hope they aren't!

Appt went as follows:
They discovered a nice cyst on my right ovary. Not shocking really.

Anyhow, I am taking Femara 5mg CD3-CD7, then Follistim injections CD6, CD8, CD10, I then have my HSG & ultrasound scheduled CD10.

From that point I guess they will be able to give me an estimated IUI date, I am pretty sure I will go in for another ultrasound before my IUI.

Not too excited about the cost of all this. I picked up my meds yesterday $460, my ultrasound was $275. This month is gonna be expensive! Grrrr, I pray it works!!

I'll keep my fingers crossed for ya hun!!! The cost can for sure be a pain... for us, the biggest cost was my hubbies 2 VR's!!!! The 2nd one, luckily, the doc didn't charge us so we only had to pay for the $1500 hospital fee... but we've already spent a bunch on this kid and they aren't even here yet! lol. All well worth it though

Glad they have a good plan in place for ya hun! Ya never know...

Hoping we both get some good news sooner than later... !!!!!

We have been ttc since July 2009, with a loss of our angel baby last July at 12 weeks

After deciding which path to try, I have taken Clomid 50mg CD3-CD7, HSG (all clear) on CD8. DH has 1% morphology issues, so we have a small amount of working sperm. IUI will be sometime this week, the day after I get a smiley opk!

Bring it on!

This is my first month trying IUI.. Finally got my first Pos OPK last night I have been using them for a months now and never got a positive until I started testing twice a day. I was only testing in the morning because I pee every 2 hours and figured the morning would be the best concentrated sample.. I was wrong. I got a negative yesterday morning and then a positive that night. I even used 2 different kits and 3 different test strips. All positive, no question. My only concern is that my BBT spiked on the 12th.. This makes me a little concerned. Which is more accurate BBT or the kits? I also started cramping on one side last night, which I never really noticed before. The clomid definately makes ovulation signs more pronounced.. Either way I figure it is worth a try. All mine and my husbands labs are normal, HSG test was normal.. We just waited way too long to start trying.

Hi guys, hope i can join this thread. I am sceduled for my 1st iui this friday. We'v been ttc since june 2009 and hav tried everything under the sun also. We get 3 free iui's on nhs and if that doesnt work we'r moving onto ivf. Please please god let this iui work...PMA!!! I went for scan on monday and i had 3 follies size 14mm so goin 4 another scan tomor morn and hopefully they'l hav grew to 18mm+ and i can take trigger tomor nite.
Just wondering girls, r u dealing with male factor problems? My dh has borderline sub-fertility. All my tests hav come back normal so really hoping that iui will give dh spermies that wee extra boost they need to reach the egg.

My husband has "borderline" low count. Although we got pregnant on our 2nd IUI in 2008. He had 5 million sperm at which they told us wasn't that great of a number BUT they also said it only takes one! They were right, one made it!

5dpo today and I already feel out. I am just upset as the IUI was done the day after I O'd. I usually O the same day as my pos opk..... Oh well.....time will tell!

Hey fellow IUI buddies!
I am so excited to have women doing IUI with me at the same time!!
I had a huge temp spike this morning after a dip yesterday. I really hope it means something good! Even though I feel out, I am dying to poas already!!!
