CD16 still neg opk but started spotting..? Any advice?

Today is CD16. I just took my opk for today at 4pm. It still shows negative but looks a little bit darker than yesterday's opk that I took around 7pm. My only concern is when I wiped today I noticed there was a little bit of bright red string like blood streaks mixed in my cervical mucus (sry if tmi). I noticed this last cycle for the first time ever and here it is happening again about mid way thru my cycle. Last cycle it lasted a few days. I didn't use opks last cycle so I just assumed it could've been ovulation spotting, but now that it's happening again this cycle and I got a negative opk, what else could it possibly be?? Or do you still think it may be ovulation spotting even with getting a negative opk? I'm a little concerned about it. Oh and fyi, my last cycle was the first I've charted and it turned out to be a 38 day cycle, so I'm just going off of that and assuming this cycle will be around the same length. My dh and I have been trying to bd every other day this cycle and we last bd'ed yesterday morning. Anyway, here is a picture of my opk from today....
